I was one of the schmucks that bought the two $25 wireless microphones and got a shockingly decent free game with them.

The pitch recognition is pretty damn good, it recognizes vibrato, and has some pretty good songs... Well, mainly just Young MC's Bust A Move... If they could match this in RockBand Lips would be even more of a throw-away game.

Soon enough (hopefully) the Lips mics will be compatible with RB, and I can toss the game disc away for good. That is the main cause of my hesitation on any DLC. I would download some of the Lips songs (Coldplay and Snow Patrol are great picks), but I never bother to play Lips, so why pay for the songs. Do I buy great songs for a mediocre game or buy semi-decent songs for a great game? I'll take them as RockBand DLC, please...

By the way, the band is Five For Fighting and the song is "100 Years". You posted them backwards.

I LOVE lips, and I love most of the DLC that has came out so far. However, these do not interest me at all. Haven't we already had enough of these old tunes? "New Edition", really????

My biggest issue is that these are $2...WTF, that is ridiculous. If they priced these correctly (read...cheaper) then it would be a no-brainer to just pick these up, but at $2 you actually have to think about it. I think that $.50 is my no-brainer price (my wife doesn't play Lips a ton, so it is not worth paying too much for them).

Just my thought on it.
