Give them a chance. Sure it's all casual stuff, but, hey, let them have their niche. I mean it's not going to make your precious PS3 disappear.

This. Lurking around Engadget, it's fairly easy to see how zealous a mentality Apple's marketing rhetoric creates. Seriously, never have I seen a company so able to create automonous marketing drones, in the form of their fans. You don't even have to browse tech websites to see them. You're bound to know at least one - the kind that try and assert Apple's superiority in every sentance they can manage it, and seem to think that their white plastic macbooks are faster than your top end gaming rig, because "macs are faster".

Being a high ranking executive he would have signed a non-compete contract which means he will almost certainly be not working on anything gaming related for Apple for several years from now.
