I tried the demo out a few days ago and have to admit its a tad better than I expected. Once you realize that the MGS Touch is nothing more than a neat flash game, it's quite fun.

That said, there's no way I'm paying 8 bucks for MGS: Duck Hunt. Especially when there are far deeper games on the App store for half the price.

yeah it's actually not terrible. but certainly not worth $8. hopefully konami will make a lot of money on these games and put it towards a bigger budget for more iPhone software. a metal gear acid type game would be fantastic on the iPhone / iPod Touch.

$8 is a relative sum. I've rented far worse games @ $8 apiece and played them for far less time than this one.

Hell, I bought Braid and GTA:TLAD for more than that, and have played each one for about an hour so far.

So what was the game the first time around with missing content? I thought that was a demo too.

I tried the demo, I liked it but it just costs too much. If the priced dropped to 2.99 I would probably buy it.

This game is actually really fun. I bought the full version last week and have been playing for between 20 minutes to an hour a day since. Since your finger covers up a good portion of what you'll be shooting at, it takes some practice to get used to the controls...but once you do, you'll be a Hound in no time. Plus, the graphics are pretty fantastic and boss battles add some variety to the standard "whack-a-mole" gameplay.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who hasn't played MGS4 and actually cares about what happens, since it spoils everything...but chances are, if you cared then you've already played the PS3 game.

Good point. This game is more like a companion for the official MGS4 game.

I would love to see more of these touch games for MGS 1-3.
