Woo hoo! Should be a lot of fun. I was going to say I hope it's easy to get in the same game and talk with other friends, but at the end they show a little menu that has an invite friends option so I'm guessing they had that in mind.

Hurray for Bob Loblaw!

Hey, um...

What happened to that host thats supposed to be commentating live? Do we really have to listen to the same pre-recorded voice "tell" us the questions with the host in between?

If we have to listen to generic voice lady a gazillion times in one game, I can't say I won't be disappointed...

And, to be more clear, I thought the actual commentating host would be with us the entire game instead of only in certain parts.

Alas, the game still looks fun despite my criticism.

If they really do end up using the same prerecorded voice over and over again, I'll absolutely mute it and stream some music instead. It's not like the host is adding anything important.

How incredibly stupid to compare it to Buzz. Last time I checked, you don't get PSN titles, do you?

@No Kills,

When you say trophies... you mean the PS3 equivalent of the 360's achievements, yes? If so, I think the question still stands... what does Buzz give you? With 1vs100 you can win actual games which normally cost money, not just points for your gamer nerd cred... although you get those too. Also... doesn't Buzzed cost money? 1vs100 does not.

Dude, I'm a PS3 supporter and that was just retarded.

At the very least you could have mentioned Lips and Scene It and received just as much discredit but at least it would have been somewhat true.

People that start flaming are no good, I tell ya'.

True, but 1 vs. 100 will cost you about $5 a month.

@jarhead906 you're wrong about the thing costing $5. 1 vs 100 is completely free, which is why there's advertising in game.

You're not serious, right?

Then again, I guess with a name that ends with "Only on Playstation 3." you could be. And that's just sad.

I thought when MS announced this that this was a cool idea. I still do. Sounds like it could be alot of fun. Winning REAL prizes is a genius move.

I wonder when the Buzz Home space will go live. Sony announced it at least a year ago and we have seen almost nothing since. Supposedly you can win REAL prizes just like in this game.

Well done MS, and bravo for giving your PAID subscribers a bone for free.

Um, Scene It? is an Xbox adaptation of a long-running DVD-based trivia game, not a Buzz! rip-off. Above that, there is nothing new about trivia games in general, as they have been popular since the 1950s.

"What's that? You're angry because they haven't brought Press Your Luck to the Primetime service? Well that's a stupid argument."

Since this is a game show thread, I'll sum up my reaction with this link: http://www.bombombombomwooooo.com

They do need a Press Your Luck Primetime game (not a bad title, either). Good call. All you would need is three players and they could have it on the designated game nights.

Apparently if the "1" beats everyone they get 10,000 MSP. That's a whole lot of points. Also you won't be able to use the internet to answer questions. Read the Joystiq preview. They say you have just enough time to answer the question. And by watching the video, it looks like they are right. There is no way you would have enough time to type in the question, look for the answer, and input your answer before that timer went down.

Will this be a fully international thing where one show is world-wide, or is it localized in some way? The rules seem a little different to UK version, but that's probably because it's been cut down to act as National Lottery padding.

Besides showing how great this is going to be, the trailer also shows just how gimmicky/out of place the Avatars are on the Xbox 360.

If you're going to have voiceover, at least make it look like the Avatars are the ones saying anything: it just looks like a poorly done animated GIF.

I'm not sure why you think the avatars are out of place, I thought all the mindless bashing of them was done with. They work great on the dashboard, they're a great representation of your friends and the games that do use them tend to be quite fun.

Would you have prefered gamerpics here? and boring menus?

The avatars are already used MUCH more than the Mii's and I'm more attached to mine than I ever have been with my Mii, and they're certainly more interesting than the dull, lifeless avatars you have on Home. Plus all the clothing is free, all we need now is unlockable outfits from games, which is apparantly coming soon..

That may be your stance on the matter, but $1 million in one month tells Sony otherwise.

At least now you'll have one more thing that you're getting from your paid subscription.

Calm down bub. No need to get defensive.

All I was doing was stressing that you had an opinion. Good for you that you like what you are getting from your paid subscription.

"Also the ability to download all my add-on content, demos and games without having to install them."

I'm not trying to provoke you here, but that's standard procedure for almost anything you download on any platform (XBLA, PSN, PC, etc;)

Thats the beauty of Home. With this service, Sony can do something just like this among countless other ideas. The Home social network will grow and has been growing. MS following suit with something Homelike is inevitable in the long run.

I am very curious for what Sony has planned for Home with this years E3. Trust me...a year from now Home will be hardly recognizable from its current form.

Like I said in my earlier post...this is a cool idea from MS.

Sony pushes MS, MS pushes Sony...and WE WIN!!!!!

Yes, Joystiq, I am angry they haven't brought Press Your Luck, damnit and it is an awesome argument! I mean come on, the greatest game show 'villain' ever is the ever nonsensical but always malicious whammy! The more I think about it, it seems like maybe the "Rabbids" may have gotten inspiration from them..in a goofy sort of way.
