Perhaps not realizing that the real achievement is the fun you have along the way, posters on Bethesda's forums are in an uproar about not being credited for the Achievements they earned in the newly released Fallout 3 DLC, Broken Steel.
If you experience the same problem, take heart! Bethesda tells us, "The Xbox Live servers don't seem to be fully synched yet with the additional Achievements. Microsoft is looking into it right now so that the Achievements folks have gotten will show up properly on Live (the game awards them, they just aren't showing up right on Live for some reason). People won't lose any Achievements."
Patience, friends. Sounds like this will be resolved soon.

That Super Mutant should consider repairing his laser gatling. It's firing crooked.

It's probably the overlord or whatever it's called. I encountered one around level 24 near the Citadel, and they pack a punch. They also sometimes carry the Tri-laser weapon.

Yes, it's by the far the best of the 3 DLCs in terms of content. The new perks are awesome, and 1 makes you explode in a nuke blast when you get below 20% health, taking out everyone nearby (including any allies). The new weapons are awesome, as the tesla cannon can pretty much take out anyone or anything in 1 or 2 hits. The new places are pretty cool, but I won't go into detail there as they're story related. All I will say is, when you get to Adams Air Force Base you have a lot of fun with the tesla cannon :P.
The last big desicion before the DLC "ends" was awesome as well. It's going to really change things in Fallout 3 assuming there's future DLC.

it also added just some neat new touches, like when before Enclave Vertibirds would fly down and drop off a few troops in a random encounters, now once in awhile they do a bombing run and drop a couple mini nukes. There are also caravan traders that bring the purified water to cities with Brahmin that have huge BoS branded barrels full of it on them

This was the only problem I encountered when I played through it yesterday, but if they said they'll show up when the problem's fixed...well I guess then it's not much of a problem for me :D
Fantastic DLC by the way. Each one should be this awesome.

I'm guessing this will be handled by a quick software update right? no sense in pulling the DLC and re-publishing it if its just a problem w/ the servers...
the Pitt DLC was an absolute nightmare that didn't get resolved or info sent out heavily for at least 4 days! At least this is a bit better...
(saddened that I'm nowhere near the end of the game to enjoy this, but I'll still pick it up b/c it tweaks other settings and adds new enemies even if you're not ready for the expansion pack)

This is technically a Microsoft problem, as the problems with the PC version were.

Dang. I still have to get around to re-downloading the fixed version of The Pit so I can finish that. You'd that at least MS would have hired them a QA team along with whatever else they gave them for exclusive DLC.

Hey, if anyone has the DLC, is there an option to join the enclave or outcasts, or screw over the brotherhood? I never liked the fact that I was forced into aligning with the BOS in the main game, and was wondering if this would fix that.

Technically no. I'd tell you, but it delves into spoiler territory. If you really want to know I'm sure someone already has a guide up for the DLC, as it's only a few hours long.

Alright, thanks, I'll look it up. I was wondering if it was just a straight yes or no answer, but if its not, I'll go look at a guide. Spoiler territory-ho!

Actually, the real non-spoiler answer to your question is a little bit yes and no.

Here's a crazy idea. Perhaps Bethesda could test their DLC before releasing it. A reasonable expectation that the code we are buying works is part of what our money is going toward.

I'm happy to say mine works like a charm... except for the occasional freeze here and there. I'm also happy that the glitch I found to get passed the level cap (prior to Broken Steel) doesn't hurt your levels when you level up in Broken Steel.

Bethesda could learn a lot from Rockstar, I think TLAD was polished and ready to go from day 1 no issues. NO ISSUES!! HOW CAN YOU RELEASE SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY? THERE IS NO EXCUSE!

How about the fact that Three Dog wrecks the ending an announces over the radio the end of the game, prior to people having completed Project Purity. That is where the real media attention should be.

who cares about achievments not showing up instantly? the chance to go up to lvl 30 is enough for me to buy this as soon as i get some points.
that nuclear disposition perk how is that helpful? you get down to 20% and boom or doesnt it hurt you? cause i would imagine you going boom would kill you meaning that you perk basically gives you 80% health. if it doesnt kill you then i would still expect the area to be radiated in a big way. has anyone taken this perk and can clear up how good it is cause would like some info b4 i take it, thanks

Well, I downloaded the Pitt and Broken Steel and then proceeded to waste almost two hours trying to ensure that Fawkes was not lost forever. No matter what I did, he was not there when I woke up and not at the entrance to the underworld. I tried multiple endings, but none worked out. Any ideas?
I was loading from the last possible save prior to the end.

I took him to my megaton house and told him to stay there and he has, I can go back and get him anytime. I dont know when your last save was but maybe that would work

Are you sure he's still alive? *SPOILER*
In my playthrough, after he helped save me from the Enclave, he sauntered off while I explored a bit, and I got a message that he was killed.

Thanks Dark. I will go back to an earlier save and tell the big man to saunter on home. I just cant see myself wondering the wastes with anyone else. The save I was using was just before I entered the air lock.
@igetgames - Sounds likes Fawke's inability to jump combined with his inability to sneak lead to his death. He does attract attention.

Fallout3 dlc could blow up my xbox and I'd still love it and Bethesda. After the 1000+ hours they've given me with their games, I think they deserve a little slack. It's not like they're EA or Eidos.
