Tiki Bar TV video game in the works for PC, Mac and iPhone

We love Tiki Bar TV, so when word broke that the Web TV show would be getting its own video game, we were intrigued. Developed by Secret Lab, a small Mac and iPhone development studio, Day of the Tiki will be out this summer for the PC, Mac and, later, the iPhone. The game itself will be a 2D platform game with 3D artwork and will put you in the shoes of the show's bartender, Johnny Johnny.
The press release indicates that this may be the first in a series of collaborative titles between Secret Lab and Tiki Bar TV. Judging from the screenshots, it's probably best to keep expectations relatively low, but with "cutscenes in the style of the podcast" and input from the crew behind the show, we've no doubt it'll be hilarious even if the gameplay and/or graphics aren't anything special.
[Thanks, Paris]

Never heard of them. Anyone want to give a quick synopsis?

I'll take a sarcastic whack at it. It's a show with poor production values, poor acting, kinda lame and contrived humor, that people like because it's not mainstream.

Markez,
.....ya know....I was gonna say something witty (and probably fail miserably at it), but you basically killed any fun to be had by delivering an incredibly accurate summation in less than three sentences. Kudos (and damn you).

Hey everyone! I'm one of the developers of this game.
Tiki Bar TV is an acquired taste, to be sure, but it's absolutely hilarious once you get into it. We're working closely with the cast and producers to make this as close to the podcast as possible. These screenshots are very early, and we'll be putting more more out as we get closer to release!
And yes, there will be plenty of Lala.

I'm personally not a HUGE fan of the series, but I know how much effort and passion goes into making it...I should know - when I was an animator at Studio B, Kevin Gamble was my producer! XD
Great guy, with a great sense of humor. I wish them all the best in their endeavours.
