So that's what that mysterious whiteboard was about! Judge Dredd is getting his own sticker pack in LittleBigPlanet, one of many upcoming packs to LittleBigPlanet. According to Edge, a number of graphic artists are collaborating with Sony's community-driven platformer. Jon Burgermann is one of the first artists confirmed to be designing a few stickers for the game.
Media Molecule has approached a number of artists as well, such as Hellboy creator Mike Mignola and French artist Claire Wendling. Users who download stickers will be able to get a lot more functionality in the future as an upcoming patch will allow players to create items simply using stickers. "They are so empowering those bits because you just stick them on the materials, cut it out, and you've got like a handmade character."

God damn it why doesn't LBP put up some actual content for a change! No more of these repetitive and stupid stickers and costumes.

Oh, you mean the one with the infinite lives and tether less jetpack? You know, a few things that would have literally taken them seconds to do? Things that should have been options from the start instead of BS us to believe they're actually doing anything special? No I don't mean feeding us bullshit like that I mean ACTUAL F*CKING CONTENT.

Oh, you mean that pack with the infinite lives and tether less jetpack etc..? You mean that pack of nothing but a few items that could have just been settings in the original game? you mean that pack that literally would have only taken minutes of work and should have been on the disc copy in the first place? Why no I don't mean that, I mean ACTUAL F**KING CONTENT. Not some BS shoved down peoples thoughts to make fools actually believe they're being given something.

Oh my god, you're an idiot.
"Oh, you mean that pack with the infinite lives and tether less jetpack etc..? You mean that pack of nothing but a few items that could have just been settings in the original game?"
Yeah, they could have been settings in the original game, or they could NOT have been settings in the original game and never existed at all. The game is complete and they're giving you extra stuff for free later, continuing to support their game six months after its release. How can you possibly bitch about this kind of stuff?
" you mean that pack that literally would have only taken minutes of work and should have been on the disc copy in the first place?"
Why should it have been on the disc in the first place? And how would it have taken "minutes of work"? Don't pretend to know what you're talking about.
"Why no I don't mean that, I mean ACTUAL F**KING CONTENT."
The creator pack isn't "actual content" now? What, do you want more levels? Because I'm pretty sure the entire game is designed around the fact that there are a shitton of user created levels out there to play.
"Not some BS shoved down peoples thoughts to make fools actually believe they're being given something."
"shoved down peoples thoughts?" What the fuck does that even mean? And yeah, if you get something for free, you're being given something. Please stop being an idiot now. More developers should support and improve their games like Media Molecule do.

Cool! At long last, some LittleBigPlanet content I care absolutely nothing about! This may be the first LBP DLC I skip- I never found anything appealing about Judge Dread and I certainly don't care about injecting him into LBP.
Hooray for saving money... :)

i like the new function they're adding to the stickers, not sure if i want that pack though

Not sure I really give a toss about the stickers themselves but the new functionality sounds really useful. We can plant stickers on to materials that make the stickers "pop" and then in turn just move those objects round the environment. Very cool, should remove a lot of the fuck around from trying to place stickers on materials where the sticker texture just "blends in". Will prolly get the stickers anyway, just for the fuck of it. Having said that I'm starting to sympathize with some of the skeptics here: LBP is my fave game so far this generation but I think it's about time the game got a shot in the arm in the form of another "serious" game addition a la MGS paintinator. I'm grateful for the last creator pack, for sure, but none of those additions were super huge - all of those features (at least tetherless jetpacks and infinite lives) were available before with workarounds; it's good to have them in there "properly" but it's hardly something to get too excited about.
