I guess it's gonna be a lot more about the software this year, so here's hoping E3 (coupled with the titles we already know about) brings some genuinely interesting stuff that gets games and consoles off shelves. (JRPGs plz).

We know there is at least one Factor 5 project, possibly two. Equally we know of some sort of new IP from Retro Studios. Sin & Punishment 2, the next Fire Emblem, a Pokemon Gold & Silver remake (a la Fire Red and Leaf Green), Mario and Luigi RPG 3, and Zelda: Spirit Tracks to start

Wario doesn't work for Nintendo. He has his own game-making company called WarioWare Inc.

Excellent news for Nintendo, BTW.

For those who complain that Nintendo isn't listening to the "hardcore", we now know why: They have fat wads of thousand dollar bills stuck in their ears.

Although they may be getting their swagger back - they're hijacking a TV show in Japan to announce Hey You Pikachu! DS and Pokemon Channel 2, for chrissake. I know they'll sell like chocolate hotcakes laced with crack, but still...

They are doing something right. Anyone who claims that the video game industry is not a booming market must be out of their minds.

How many other industries can you think of where ONE company pulled in 18.5 BILLION dollars in a recession/depression like this?
