PSN Thursday: 'Finally, some PS1 games' edition

Puzzle Quest: Galactrix makes its PSN debut this week in the US, no doubt intending to feed off the free publicity from the new Star Trek movie. Other than that, there's a lot of new DLC for many different titles, as well as three new PS1 games and even a few full PSP games. What is this, Europe?

No one really understands why the PSN price of those games are higher than the original retail price (Loco Roco was $19.99 new). My girl played the crap out of Loco Roco 2 and we couldn't find a copy of Loco Roco 1 anywhere so I just bought it off of the PSN for her.

Nice to see from PS1 games going back up. Mediocre update in terms of pure content (disclaimer: I'm just talking about this from the perspective of a PSP owner, not PS3), but a little hope is nice.

I may be in the minority with this but, Disgaea 3 expansion finally!!!!

I know right? Holy crap I can't wait to get it. I'm a little behind on the dlc for it, but as soon as I can get my hands on some money I'm getting it all (only have Adell and Rozalin right now, and I lovin them). I've been playing it a ton recently. I was wonderin what that Rasberyll omega love video was for.

Placed money aside for X-edge, otherwise I'd have all the dlc.

I'm finally getting a ps3 and Disgaea 3 on it. Absolutely loved the first games, really looking forward to it. And I'm glad to see that it's being supported like this. I should ask though, does any of the DLC change the course of the original game? On one hand, I want to play it for awhile without any add-ons, and on the other hand, I just want everything I can get for it, like, now...

@Locke_Daemonfire: The add-on characters are only playable after finishing the game so even if you get it now it's not like you can use them immediately.

The InFamous demo also went live today though the voucher says it won't do so until tomorrow. I'm downloading it now and will report back this weekend with some impressions. For those that don't know you get the demo for pre-ordering the title from Gamestop.

i thought you get the exclusive powers from gamestop. that's what it says on their website at least.

Yes you get those special power and a voucher for the demo from gamestop when you pre-order Infamous. I know this to be true because I've already downloaded and installed the demo ... Haven't played it yet as I've been playing the UFC demo all night. I'll get around to it tonight or sometime this weekend.

I know. The fact that they even released R-Type Delta here is nothing short of a miracle. I guarantee you people will always find something to complain about. The people should actually shut up and give R-Type Delta a try, especially the ones who keep crying for Einhander to come over here.

R-Type: Delta? Spyro 2? At least you Americans actually got some decent ones, we Europeans have to suffer with The Little Mermaid II.
