Maybe it's the fact that, as we mentioned in our first impressions of the game, Vigilante 8 dev Luxoflux -- who knows a thing or two about vehicular combat -- is at the helm. It could also be how gosh darn fast these big metal guys go from vehicle to 'bot and back again. Of course, there's always the "Giant Robot Game Rule." Y'know, the one that states every game with giant robots looks awesome in trailers. As for the finished product, well, that's the great unknown in this case. Hopefully Luxoflux has the touch.
