Cool, but, were those coms the whole time? I mean, multiplayer could have some appeal, but how would it be done when you can race ahead and lose sight? Split screen mayhaps? Or did I miss a wifi announcement?

The tapping controls make me raise an eyebrow. Multiplayer, for instance, is most likely going to be played in front of a tv with a coffee table of some sort in front of it. If 3 or 4 people all have their remotes on the table and start tapping, won't that screw up the controls?
