Rumor: Beyond Good & Evil 2 footage leaked and lovely

i don't think there's even a question that this is all in game graphics. not only does it look realtime (notice the way the cars and background move, etc.), it also seems FUN. i can't wait for this

WTF IS THAT?! A Mirror's Edge style platform action game? Well sure those are nice, but this supposed to be Beyond Good and Evil?! Well fuck that, I want my Zelda-esque role-playing adventure game, assholes!

Just one thing : the french site linked to in this article now claims on its front page that "The Beyond good and Evil 2 video does not come from this site", signed by a site administrator.
Now where is this video really coming from?

Stop saying this is a Mirrors Edge/Assassins Creed Rip off. IF you remember correctly, there were one or two chase scenes in the first one, very similar, although not as fluid, to this.

This looks amazing. I like the cross of Assassin's Creed and Parkour action. AC came out over a year ago, so this could be the evolved gameplay. I hope this is real!

Not real time, but probably a kind of target render to show off various gameplay elements. If the game ends up being half of what that video shows, then it wins the day.

I'm going to go out on a limb and vote for that being gameplay.

I think were all going to be in for a big surprise. We severally underestimate not only the true power of the consoles but we also are neglecting the skill of the developers. Maybe they came up with some crazy new engine that can do what we just saw. What if they made a crazy new camera to match?

It's innovation that moves the industry forward, fueled by imagination, technology (and yes lots of money) and hard work. They know how good the first one was and how upset gamers would be if the messed this up. Ubisoft does good work and I wouldn't be surprised in the least if that is actual gameplay or if not we could have another Killzone situation in which they came really darn close to the video. I bought my PS3 specifically for KZ2 and although I have a ton of other games for that system, I must admit they got extremely close. The only problem I see from this game is trying to decide which console to get it for.
