This week, the staff aren't finding themselves distracted by Star Trek. Nope, not at all. In fact, we can't remember the last time we even cared about a trek past the stars. So, what are you playing this weekend?
- Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): I'm going to keep moving forward in Halo Wars. I really think that's it. Too much work.
- Andrew Yoon: Gonna dust off the Wii for some Klonoa this weekend.
- Ben Gilbert (@BigBossBgilbert): I'm continuing my angst ridden trek across the galaxy in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Luddy tells me there's an achievement in Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard just for pushing the start button, so I think I might taint my gamerscore with that while I'm at it. Oh and hey, Griffin's graduating college! Say it with me now, folks: Congratulations, Griffin!
- Christopher Grant (@ChrisGrant): I've got Resistance Retribution on the PSP to keep me company on the train ride from Boston back to Philadelphia. This should break my weeks-long uninterrupted streak of not playing games.
- David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): Thankfully, my obligations to friends for weddings and the like are over. Now, I can play some games. And I will do just that, namely Assault on Dark Athena, Street Fighter IV, L4D, and Gears of War 2.
- Dustin Burg (@SuperDunner): Won't be playing many games this weekend, thanks (in part) to the latest Star Trek flick consuming all of my spare time.
- Griffin McElroy (@griffinmcelroy): I just found a copy of Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls while cleaning up the old house. Probably give it a whirl, while not playing WoW or, you know, becoming a full-time grown-up adult.
- James Ransom-Wiley: (Too cool for email)
- Jason Dobson (@eToyChest): I'll be getting a cavity filled after finishing up Klonoa.
- Jem Alexander (@Yembles): I'm pretty sure there's at least another hour or so to wring out of the inFamous demo this weekend. Other than that I'll probably finally get around to some PixelJunk Eden Encore. The game wrapped its claws around me all through the summer of 2008 and I expect the expansion to do the same thing now. Looking forward to it.
- JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): I just found out that Gamefly is shipping Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers to me. FINALLY.
- Justin McElroy (@JustinMcElroy): My wife will be a doctor after Friday night, so I probably won't be working any more.
- Kevin Kelly (@gadgetguy): Finishing up Wolverine, and painfully laboring through Velvet Assassin for unknown reasons. With any luck, I'll be playing some strategy board games over the weekend that can wash the bitter taste of revenge out of my mouth.
- Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): It's Fable II: See the Future for me, along with brief bouts of the unintentionally hilarious Tenchu: Shadow Assassins. Not sure what they did to deserve it, but those shadows have it coming.
- Majed Athab: (Lost in PlayStation Home)
- Randy Nelson (@DangerPenguin): For me? A spicy melange of games and genres. Fallout 3 Broken Steel, Plants vs. Zombies, MadWorld, more inFamous demo and my latest backlog addiction: Art Style: Orbient. SO GOOD!
- Richard Mitchell (@SenseiRAM): Wolverine showed up, so that. I'm also looking forward to digging into The Path now that it's out on Mac. More Theresia on my DS when I can't get to a TV.
- Xav de Matos (@Xav): I'm continuing my PSP kick, finishing off SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 2 and Resistance: Retribution. Then I'm going to get even more tactical, thanks to watching too many episodes of The Unit on CBS, and reach into my prev-gen collection to finish off Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers. Fire up, feels good!
- Justin Glow (@justinglow): (Too busy sacrificing things to the ancient beasts that keep Joystiq running.)
