If this works on any sites at all it should work on Joystiq.

Grab your devs and tell them to start coding.

This is so cool! Although, the facebook flare is a bit annoying after a bit. Also, that guitar hero flash is REALLY HARD. But still awesome.

True, especially when you don't click back out of the YouTube window, rendering all your button presses moot.

Lots of sites use jQuery (a javascript framework). Right on the jQuery site they offer a konami code listener... not surprised it winds up in a lot of sites. I'm sure a lot of the this is done by web developers that sneak this into the code, since it's so easy:

I love using the code while playing Mafia Wars on Facebook. Lens flare makes doing jobs and fighting other mafia members even more special!

I find myself oddly disappointed that it doesn't work on Konami.com.

Hoping this will tweak your interest at some novelty level. Entering the Konami Code for a website in iPhone's MobileSafari, by using gestures...

http://milliondollarcu.be/iphone.php

Enter the Konami code by swiping the middle of the screen: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, and an Easter Egg is revealed (plus it's dragable and rotatable)

iPhone/Gestures/Secret Konami codes/A 'Twitter' easter egg - this has it all.

Video of how it works can be seen at http://MillionDollarCu.be/blog/#20
