Is there a reason why all those monsters look like they would fit in well with the Locusts from Gears of War?

Unreal Engine was dropped 6 years ago and they decided to create their own engine, which, in my IMO, by what showed this video, its waaaaay better than the UE, on par with the Crytek one.

As for the monster, this are rehashed HD version of the original DN3D ones, so the thing is, locust one looks more like the original DN monsters, so it would be more like Locust can be of the gang of this guys, as this appeared first

Looks pretty fun, good ole Duke. One tip for the defunct 3D Realms, this should have been DNF 2 or 3. I'm no crazy businessman or anything, but it seems like having money coming in for production costs is always a good thing. Would it have killed em to actually spend another 6 months to finish up and actually RELEASE the game they've been working so hard on before scrapping everything and jumping to a new engine? My money's on no.

i think while they're not doing anything at 3DREALMS , they played too much Gears.. too bad they didnt learn anything to release this game.

Sorry, but that's pretty pathetic for 13 years of development. Still looks like it had a real long ways to go. Whoever was the manager for this project should be fired and never work on a game ever again.

Wow, that actually looks pretty damn good. I hope someone picks up the rights to the IP and the existing tech.

Anyone who's saying: "this is what we get for 13 years of development? lololol" are complete and utter morons. No, this isn't 13 years of work. More like a year or two at best. The work they did do over the 13 years almost guaranteed got scrapped during however many development cycles it went through.

This game has more personality than the next 10 Call of Duty games put together. What a shame.

I realize It's hard to accept but if you read the forum and Joe Siegler's (admittedly sparse and vague) comments it is 180 degrees from Anticrawl's analysis. The future of DNF is uncertain and all the developers involved are laid off/fired.

What's more important right now is that we need to show that there IS a market still for the king. Buy the Trilogy, make a fuss about DNF, ANYTHING. Even if it doesn't get us Duke Nukem Forever It will at least help to show devs/publishers that there is market for the future of the franchise.

I wish this game came out. We need another Duke Nukem in the age of boring, way too serious FPS games. Timesplitters doesn't cut it like Duke does.

And I'd take this over COD 15.

It actually looks pretty good; I hope Take Two gives another developer the assets, has them replace Duke with a good character, and releases it really quickly. I really want to play the game in that video.

Why do I keep thinking that this is all publicity stunt and that 3D Realms is still in business and that DNF is coming out very soon?

I could be wrong but this is moving so fast that it seems orchestrated in advance.

Man, that good ol' Duke and his awesome cheesy dialogues, you can't beat that ! I am impressed that game play is still reminiscent of the original Duke Nukem 3D goodness..

Btw, if you want this game to come out, or just wanna support it pls do sign this petition over here !

Sega picked up the publishing rights for those games. Take Two still has the publishing rights for Duke Nukem Forever, but they now need someone to perhaps re-hired the 3D Realms developing staff. Don't make the same mistake Anticrawl did and make a complete idiot of himself. Duke Nukem Trilogy is being developed by Apogee and published by 3D Realms. Duke Forever is developed by 3D Realsm themselves and published by Take Two, so no 3D Realms means no Duke Nukem Forever.

See, thats your problem. You are stick that a gamer = nerd/virgin. Maybe it was something more accurate in the 80's/mid 90's, but now, its almost uncommon. The only people that enter on that category is MMO players. General videogamer had graduated from that already, so dude, live up to the times.

And really, from all that awesomes this flick showed you only care for 2 secs of a naked girl showing somw boobs???

Dude, we need to take you to a stripper club, like fast!!!!!

Real boobs > 3d boobs
