Monster Hunter 3 coming to U.S. and Europe, Capcom working on nine Wii titles
Those who took the time to dig through Capcom's most recent statistic-filled investor briefing for the upcoming fiscal year could find two interesting nuggets therein. The first, and most savory of these nuggets was a release date chart which revealed Capcom's plans to bring its upcoming pelt collecting action-RPG Monster Hunter 3 (Tri-) to the U.S. and Europe some time during this fiscal year. For those who slept through Econ 101, that means it should be in your hot little hands before next April Fools' Day.
The second interesting bit was the revelation that Capcom is currently working on nine Wii titles to release in the current fiscal year. We know about six of them: Monster Hunter G (which dropped last month), Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, Resident Evil Archives, Resident Evil Zero Archives, Spyborgs, and now, Monster Hunter 3. What could the other three titles be? Further reboots of old series? Another Archived Resident Evil? Brand new franchises? We may never know. No, wait -- yes, we will. Sorry about that.

Megaman Legends 3 (or new play control of legends 1 on wiiware)
NaeemTHM @ May 11th 2009 12:43PM
If they remake Mega Man Legends 1 and 2 for the Wii I'll start a new church in the name of Capcom.
tmacairjordan87 @ May 11th 2009 12:36PM
Well, I was going to say looks like the number of new wii games I"m getting this year has gone up to 1, but since they said fiscal year that may change things.
mr nimblewick @ May 11th 2009 12:42PM
Did you buy a wii?
tmacairjordan87 @ May 11th 2009 12:46PM
No, I took the 250 the post office sent me and ended up preordering infamous (if it sucks i'll just return it before 7 days for the refund) and saving the rest for any downloadable announcements for E3. So the wii will have to wait a few more months
mr nimblewick @ May 11th 2009 12:49PM
It'll be an interesting day when you do buy one. I can't wait for your first "gathering dust" comment.
tmacairjordan87 @ May 11th 2009 12:52PM
Oh it'll likely happen, as there's nothing but this on the horizon barring any E3 surprises. You'll have to give me some time to catch up on the few games I've missed out on before I say that though :P

I finally got around to playing the demo for Infamous and I thought it was awesome. I think it's going to be a fantastic game. I was kind of surprised how many of the gameplay elements from Sly Cooper actually transfered over to Infamous. It's a no brainer day 1 for me.
playwhutyalike @ May 11th 2009 2:53PM
So, you don't have an extra $250 plus tax lying around to get one?
Levi @ May 11th 2009 5:47PM
! I didn't realize the demo was out! How did I miss that?
*fires up PS3*

Suddenly my mood has brightened a bit
xFenixKnightx @ May 11th 2009 12:46PM
Ugh!
What Capcom needs to do is make Viewtuful Joe for PS360, DAMNIT!!!!
Cody @ May 11th 2009 5:41PM
UGH!!!
That's what the Lakers said after the Rockets hit em in the mouth yesterday!
Goddamn Magic losing at the last second of the game..... :(

WHY DOWNVOTE THIS?
beaus27 @ May 11th 2009 12:53PM
Does anyone else not care about RE A and REZ A besides me?
baby sea tuna @ May 11th 2009 1:31PM
I never got around to playing Zero, so I guess I care a little.
beaus27 @ May 11th 2009 4:24PM
Sorry about that baby sea tuna,
if you have not played either the GameCube's RE or REZ, you're in for a REAL treat, especially the RE remake.
IMO, if you've beaten or own either GameCube RE title(s), there's little reason to repurchase the games.

Well it looks like my brother, who is a consummate Sony fanboy and also a lover of MH, is either going to have to give in and buy a Wii or just resign himself to depression. I think he's put almost 300 hours into the PSP's MH2GPortable or whatever it was called. Granted, he was in Iraq at the time, so I don't know what else he really had to do, but he keeps telling me how awesome that game was.
Kenny Powers Fastball (PSN johnnynumber5) @ May 11th 2009 1:33PM
Hopefully these games are better than Capcoms recent offerings on the Wii.
Mr Khan @ May 11th 2009 4:36PM
Should be. For both Monster Hunter III and Darkside Chronicles, they're claiming Best Graphics Evar for Wii, and they seem to be doing interesting things with Darkside Chronicles, while Monster Hunter III will promise countless hours of something resembling fun (depending on your definition). Spyborgs is up in the air
BebopFox @ May 11th 2009 1:41PM
I thought MH3 was already pretty-much confirmed for US/EU release last year at TGC when a Capcom PR talked about making a push to inform the general public and for more commercialization of the game in these areas.
Rob @ May 11th 2009 3:17PM
Good, considering the lack luster advertising of games like Madworld and GTA: Chinatown they should consider more advertising.
Big beN @ May 11th 2009 3:07PM
Great news !!!
I bet Strret Fighter IV will come to Wii ! A far better idea than bringing Dead Rising...
Maybe a new Megaman ( Metroid style ).
Or maybe they are working on Nintendo franchise ( like they did for Zelda back on GBA ).
Can't wait E3 :)
Dv8thwonder @ May 11th 2009 4:01PM
Spectacular speculations
===================
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom online
Zak n' Wiki sequel
Street Fighter 4 Turbo
Or...
Bionic Commando
Viewtiful Joe 3
Cannon Spike 2
theclaw @ May 11th 2009 4:14PM
Oh dear. Another case of game-skipping. Monster Hunter 2 didn't reach the US or Europe on PS2.
Matias @ May 11th 2009 4:33PM
I think is ANOTHER resident evil game.
Seriously, 3 games?

I would think one of them would be Tatsunoko vs Capcom. If they're including Monster Hunter G (already released in Japan) on this list, then there's no reason for it to not include TvC also
BigD145 @ May 11th 2009 5:13PM
I can has online MH3 on my Wii?
CJLopez @ May 11th 2009 5:16PM
So, does this confirms that mosnter hunter g is comming over here?

I will buy a Wii for MH3! Now I just hope they don't charge monthly for the online.
However, if they release the PC version in the US and charge a monthly fee, I'd gladly pay for that! (Or free with paid premiums. I'd pay for the premium! Like Adventure cats and Cooking bonuses and Material farms.)
