Listen. We really wanted to make the focus of this post the humorous nod to EA and Maxis' life-emulator The Sims that was featured on last night's episode of 30 Rock. It's one of our favorite shows, making a reference to one of our most beloved franchises, and ... well, it actually teaches us a valuable lesson about parenting. You can check out Liz Lemon's sagacious suggestion on Hulu (it's around the 1:20 mark).
Yes, we'd love to focus on that, but unfortunately, we find it difficult to write about 30 Rock on our humble gaming blog without instead turning your attention to Werewolf Bar Mitzvah. If you've got time to watch both of these clips, please do -- if you only have time for one, it's hard for us to endorse anything except Tracy Jordan's lupine magnum opus.

youtube videos are illegal and thus get pulled. Especially if sites like joystiq link to them. You're probably more likely to find the clip in question if you search youtube for it than if joystiq links to one, thus making it likely to disappear before you can see it.

A lot of NBC clips get taken down because of copyright stuff.
Happy to see this one is still there, though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLpGYTcqHME

Well, when something funny or remotely entertaining comes up on BBC iPlayer, they'll be sure to post it here.

Nothing's really wrong with Hotspot Shield, but Hulu recently put in place measures that block people trying to use the site via anonymous proxies inside and outside the US, so it's more or less useless.

@Dab: Content on Hulu is legal and legitimate. You can't get SHIT on YT when it comes to NBC, they're extremely thorough with copyright protection and pull anything the instant it gets uploaded or put on an unofficial website.
As for being out of the country, there are plenty of ways to get around that...I used a VPN while in Japan, but there are other methods.
And if you want to complain about Joystiq being "unfairly biased towards American readers," well, they're based in America and their target audience is American, and that's life.

I love 30 Rock so much. Tina Fey is hilarious and hot and Tracy Jordan is one of the most original and pleasantly awkward comedians ever...
The writing on the show is great, I love how it constantly has little references to other episodes in the background- almost like Easter eggs. The "Werewolf Bar Mitzvah" appears in a couple of episodes and in one episode, Jenna talks about being on the "Japanese Porn Star Diet" (she can only eat paper) and then a few episodes later when Liz goes to get her book signed by Carrie Fisher, the Japanese Porn Star Diet book is sitting on a shelf in one of the shots.

Exactly what everyone else said, Tina Fey is absolutely gorgeous and 30 Rock is the best comedy series on tv today. Absolutely awesome seeing it around these parts.
Oh and please, just hoping for the future that nobody brings in politics in here. I mean seriously, it was months ago, it's SNL, they make fun of everyone, so let's just keep this on the awesomeness of 30 Rock, yeah?

That's because Big Bang is fake-nerdy made by people who like to make fun of nerds through over the top stereotypes and cliches (but make them sympathetic awww). 30 Rock is legit.

Tina Fey is an unfunny douchebag - she leaned on Amy Poehler for laughs and for some reason got all the credit.
Ergo, anybody who likes Tina Fey is, by extension, also a douchebag.
There's a reason this show never pulls a significant viewer ratio: it's lame. And it's like the ten fans of the show relish in the show not being funny, like watching it is a badge of membership in some douchebag club.

You know, your name suits you. Yeah, she leaned on someone for laughs whose material she wrote. I do that all the time. You know, reading your post, it's almost like you've never watched an episode of 30 Rock. Because it's funny, and anyone with a sense of humor can see that.

Tina Fey "absolutely gorgeous" "comedic genius"... that's like saying Sean Penn would make a believable Marcus Fenix.
Some of you sound brainwashed! It reads like like those fake reviews by the manufacturer lackeys...
Nobody remembers back when SNL was actually consistently funny? Like before the "great" Tina Fey got there?

I agree with you. I never liked Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin or Tracy Morgan and have generally shyed away from anything they do. SNL under Fey was especially bad and she's not funny in movies at all. Tracy Morgan just makes me want to slap him when he talks and, lets face it, Alec Baldwin is a F.A.G.
Having said that...
30 Rock is by far the funniest show on TV now and ranks way up there for all time, IMO. The characters on this show just 'click' for me. I make a point to watch it every week that it's on and when I'm bored I have all of the episodes downloaded so I can go back and watch my favs.
If you're avoiding 30 Rock because you don't like Fey, you should give it an honest chance.
