OMG! Activision and Nickelodeon developing a game based on iCarly
How to fully enjoy this post:
1. Grab the nearest preteen girl. (If you're not in your home, please ask permission before grabbing random preteens.)
2. Insert earplugs.
3. Tell the aforementioned girl that Activision is making a video game for Wii and DS with Nickelodeon based on the network's iCarly, and that it will allow her to make her own episodes of the show through the magic of minigames.
4. Remove earphones.
5. Repair squeal-shattered windows, champagne flutes.
6. Look totally cool to said preteen for at least 15 minutes.

By preteen do you mean 3 year old?
Ridgecity @ May 13th 2009 12:25PM
Actually iCarly can cut & paste.
Tiptup300 @ May 13th 2009 2:30PM
I don't think anyone likes this show, I saw an episode yesterday while watching my 2 year old neice, and i gotta say it's terrible. It's like if you took a 40 year old who's never been on the internet, then got him to tell a story about his grand daughter being on the internet or something.
Snakku @ May 13th 2009 10:16AM
I feel a bit better knowing that I do NOT know who the middle girl is...just a bit better
James @ May 13th 2009 11:02AM
I don't know who any of them are... but I live in England. I think we have the Spice Girls instead or something...or maybe Stephen Fry. yeah, let's go with Stephen Fry.
Meh @ May 13th 2009 1:11PM
I have no idea about all of them. Basement dwelling has its pride sometimes.
Alphathon @ May 13th 2009 1:08PM
The first ones Miley Cyrus I believe, but the other two I have no clue about (and I only know Miley because she was on Jonathan Ross a few weeks back)
Dabih @ May 14th 2009 5:04AM
I thought they were all the same person >_>
Ethan @ May 14th 2009 12:56PM
I think basement dwelling would make it more likely.
I recognise all of them though, can't put names to faces apart from Ms Cyrus but I still wish I didn't.
Maverick Saturn @ May 13th 2009 10:18AM
Why?
Matisyahu Serious @ May 13th 2009 2:51PM
because you arent the only one who buys video games.
Temidien @ May 13th 2009 10:19AM
Is giving us ANY instructions on what to do with a preteen girl wise?
I mean, I'm sure Chris Hanson plays video games too....

Goddam you Joystiq! Making me grab preteens, I didn't know it was so easy to get on the sex offenders register.
The Baron @ May 13th 2009 11:00AM
A friend's brother is on the sex offender's register because the police detected him downloading bondage porn. Not underage or anything, it's just the particular type he downloaded was technically illegal under some old law.
So he now can't work with children and has to declare that he's on the register practically everywhere he goes.
Petebot330 @ May 13th 2009 11:14AM
What do you mean “detected him”? Don’t they have to have a search warrant to go through your computer files?
Ranelar @ May 13th 2009 11:41AM
Shhh, don't ruin the brother's lie. He's obviously hiding his real crime from his family. "Yea, I uh..downloaded... bondage porn? But but, it was like really weird and kinky and uhh... illegal? Oh, it was an old law!! Right so, in 1820, the state said you can't download ... er ... well yea .. can't "download" this particular form of bondage porn. No, I don't know how they knew to use the word download either, weird right?"
Ninja_Nun @ May 13th 2009 11:44AM
No i think he's probably telling the truth, or at least could be, there was a law passed recently here in England (where im pretty sure The Baron is from too) that outlawed all "extreme" pornography including stuff like spanking and bondage. It's a decent idea in principal but just extended too far, and thanks to the big brother culture in this country now i really wouldn't be surprised if it was true.
sam @ May 13th 2009 12:15PM
@Pete: There are other ways to get caught out. For instance you could take your laptop for repair, forgetting that it contains your porn stash, and the repairer reports it - etc.
I've heard about child porn being found by accident like that, and people getting arrested for it.
The Baron @ May 13th 2009 5:44PM
Yes, I am from the UK, and I think it was this extreme pornography law he got caught out under. I'm just relying on some guy's anecdote though, he could have made the whole thing up.
Storm Eagle @ May 13th 2009 10:22AM
MEGATON!!!!!!!!
Obie @ May 13th 2009 10:23AM
It's Miley!.....Or Carly rather. Does Disney have a lab where they crank these girls out?
Maverick Saturn @ May 13th 2009 10:27AM
Yup, they breed them from young, raise them in a disney school institute where they are sealed away from the world and start thier careers off from the age of 4
sisterfromanothermister @ May 13th 2009 11:47PM
Noooo, but Nickelodeon does...
Chrono @ May 14th 2009 4:07PM
Of course they do.

Wizzleteets @ May 13th 2009 10:28AM
Classic? Let me know when you've seen You Can't Do That on Television
baby sea tuna @ May 13th 2009 10:31AM
Damn you, Wizzleteats for typing faster than me!
LaughingTarget @ May 13th 2009 10:36AM
I still miss Legends of the Hidden Temple.
Chris D.(PSN: Aggie_CEO | XBL:The Aggie CEO | Steam: Aggie_CEO @ May 13th 2009 10:37AM
lol Double Dare, That Temple game, and the other game shows....hell Ren & Stimpy too...EVERYONE WANT A LOG!!!!
THE WICKER MAN (BWF) (GT: Dalek Prime) @ May 13th 2009 10:44AM
STFU! THERE IS ONLY PETE AND PETE! (well, that and hey dude, and salute your shorts.)
Chris D.(PSN: Aggie_CEO | XBL:The Aggie CEO | Steam: Aggie_CEO @ May 13th 2009 11:26AM
Salute your shorts was the shit too...
Hiroken @ May 13th 2009 11:40AM
I loved Keenan and Kel too. That said, Wizzleteet's assertion about You Can't Do That On Television rings true.
Also, Wizzleteets--your first name wouldn't happen to be Stinky, would it?
Well, kids? Are ya happy yet?! No!?
I'll teach you to be happy!
I'll teach your grandmother to suck eggs!
Manly Mcbeefington (Mr. ESC) @ May 13th 2009 11:44AM
Not to ruin your nostalgia but Invader Zim,Avatar and Sponge bob are way better than that corny stuff and yes I grew up with nick as well and yes I did watch all their shows but the one I miss th emost is KaBlam and Are you afraid of the dark?
Chris D.(PSN: Aggie_CEO | XBL:The Aggie CEO | Steam: Aggie_CEO @ May 13th 2009 11:48AM
Avatar is on a WHOLE NOTHER LEVEL than ANY Cartoon on Nick....I wish they would bring it back...
Vincent060 @ May 13th 2009 12:29PM
Completely agree with Mr. ESC. These new shows are WAY better then what we had back in the day. And don't forget Fairly Odd Parents too.
Antipilor @ May 13th 2009 12:31PM
It's a little wild and little strange, when you make your home out on the range...
handlas @ May 13th 2009 12:43PM
Salute your Shorts was my fav!!!
I also liked Are you Afraid of the Dark. On the cartoon side...nothing beat Rocko's Modern Life and Batman the Animated Series. Kid's these days have nothing but crap to watch, I feel sorry for em. I was flipping channels and ran across a new Batman cartoon. Batman The Brave and the Bold. Dear god it looked awful.
smcn @ May 13th 2009 12:49PM
Just thought I'd throw my hat in for Salute Your Shorts and Hey Dude. I'm sure I would facepalm if I tried to watch them now. Pete & Pete is definitely a classic though.
As far as current shows, at 24 I'll admit I enjoy Sponge Bob and Fairly OddParents. Jimmy Neutron is pretty fun too, but being a fan of Dexter's Lab I was perturbed for awhile at their use of "boy genius". Avatar is in a completely different league, and while a continuation of the series would be satisfying, it's not often you get such an awesome show that has an ACTUAL ENDING.
sisterfromanothermister @ May 13th 2009 11:57PM
iCarly is from the same creator/writer (Dan Schneider) as 'All That' and 'Keenan & Kel'.
Tyler @ May 14th 2009 12:18AM
Doug! What about Doug Funny!?
skyzbig @ May 13th 2009 10:28AM
Miley is hot.
Just saying...
baby sea tuna @ May 13th 2009 10:30AM
Is she the one with the gums?
j.howlett @ May 13th 2009 10:28AM

Michael @ May 13th 2009 2:09PM
Justin forgot to mention: "tell them you have toys and candy.in your van."
Rhamsey @ May 13th 2009 10:33AM

baby sea tuna @ May 13th 2009 10:33AM
Joystiq,

Your pal,
Scott

Doesn't Sony make that? or was it an iTouch Carly?
Er...
Einhanderkiller @ May 13th 2009 6:25PM
iCarly is the best show ever.
