April NPD: DS breaks a million, PS2 beats PS3

pulling blu-ray probably would have cost them the format war, and that might have hurt them quite a bit in the long(er) run. I do agree with your point about removing PS2 BC, however.

You make some great points and it's got to be a valid concern. As stated before the system has been number 1 in Japan for a while now and is more tan holding it's own in Europe. It seems the problem can be directly attributed to the asking price.

They have some big games and some small games coming in the next few months. With E3 right around the corner it will be interesting to see if they can get some momentum with a perfectly timed price drop and new premium bundle. Most gamers are begging them to drop the price so they can afford one. They need to listen.

How didn't Killzone 2 make the top 10? With all the hype and advertising, I thought for sure it would be a top 5 game.

Not understanding this argument other then the fact the Xbox barely outsold the PS2. Sales and money come from global, not just US. Fact is the PS3 outsold the 360, and PS2. (I am actually surprised the PS3 had higher sales with current economy.)

And the Wii/Ds is on a path of world domination.
