I believe only the Xbox360 (and ps3 version if it's identical to the xbox360 version) is canon.

There's nothing Emo about that trailer. I wish you guys in the media would stop saying Sam is emo now. He's a man in his 40's, I don't think Hot Topic would sell him the black nailpolish. Plus you're straight up disrespecting one of the baddest videogame characters of all time. You wouldn't call Solid Snake or Master Chief emos? Didn't think so.

Off topic, I know but I don't know where else I can start this.

I recon they should make a great stealth game out of Escape from New York universe. Keep it totally retro-70s, like Rockstar did with Warriors, all that snazzy technology, kinda like Fallout Pipboy. A cool eerie synth soundtrack, a guest apperance by Gary Numan playing a slightly camp post-apocolyptic-punk warlord may go down well ;) Move over Solid Snake here comes your prototype! It is Hideo Kojima's favourate film too so maybe he could make it, but he'd have to put aside his pseudo-philosophical-movie game style and get back to some B-movie basics. Have the game run on a constant timer so if you dont acheive the objects your head explodes, this aspect of the film would make an interesting play dynamic, and make the game hard as hell.

Perhaps this is set before the events of double agent. Right after the events of chaos theory. that would explain the killing of best friend (shetland), and would cater to all the sooks who whinged about the change in gameplay as it could incorporate some old style stealth early into the game, and evolve into the fugitive parts before he is a double agent.

Just a thought nobody has mentioned before. Could also explain why for the HUGE delay
