Let's be honest, if you're into Vogster's MMOFPS CrimeCraft enough that you applied for the beta, you probably already know that the closed beta started this past week. Here's the unfortunate part: If you weren't one of the fine folks accepted, you're not going to be hearing much about the game from those playing it in the beta.
Big surprise, Vogster doesn't want those folks telling the whole world about its still in-development game and has handed over a hefty NDA (non-disclosure agreement) along with the keys to to its game. Luckily, as our sisters from another adoption agency at Big Download note, a closed forum on the CrimeCraft website allows for those in the beta to speak about the game to their heart's content. And of course we'll have plenty of juicy details for you when we get a hands-on with the game at E3 2009. Hey! That's only two weeks away!

Exactly. I thought this logo looked familiar as I scrolled by.
I traded a 360 for a PS3 a while ago, but I'm still a diehard Crackdown fanboy. If Crackdown 2 comes out, I'll go buy myself another 360.

I applied for the beta, got accepted, and was sent the NDA. They said as soon as I signed the NDA I'd receive another email with my beta key. I signed it, but I have yet to receive the beta key...... and that was three days ago.

That has to be one of the worst titles ever. CrimeCraft? How do you craft crime? "Hay guyz, maybe someone will mistake this for Warcraft and buy it lololol"

This looks very interesting, but I'm wary because of the Russian roots (it's cool, I'm a comrade). Then again, Cryostasis is getting good reviews and some Russian dude won some Independent Games event for And Yet It Moves, so I'm hopeful.

"and yet it moves" is actually viennese origin (austria), not russian

I think he/she (sorry, Internet, can't tell) is saying some Russian guy went to Austria and won that event. Austria letting in some Russian guy is a good sign all by itself.

Thanks for fighting for my honor, LaughingTarget, but sp23hagbard5 is correct: I thought that it was a Russian guy who made AYIM. I saw an IGN video about the awards, and when they interviewed him I thought he was some crazy Russian guy.
