The latest issue of Nintendo Power is reporting that Capcom's other crossover fighter, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, is coming Stateside. According to scans of the issue (via NeoGAF), Nintendo Power claims the fighter -- which Capcom has said (on numerous occasions) it was attempting to bring to North America -- is headed to American shores.
For the uninformed, Tatsunoko vs Capcom is a fighting game for the Nintendo Wii -- currently available only in Japan -- that pits characters from Capcom's vast library versus characters from the Japanese animation studio, Tatsunoko Production. Joystiq has contacted Capcom for a comment.

Meh, if it comes out here I'll buy it. Anything to play on my Wii is welcome news, especially a fighter.

Seeing as I still don't know anything about Tatsunoko, and I'm not a Japanophile, I'll stick with HD Marvel vs Capcom in June.

Who cares if you know anything about Tatsunoko? If it's a good game, that's all that matters.
But, you hate the Wii anyways, so it's impossible in your own personal world that the Wii has good games.
Seriously, stop posting in Wii posts, spouting the same garbage over and over again. It's not to say your opinions are invalid, but the fact you have such malicious hate for an inanimate object that you post ad nauseam. It's simply best for all parties involved (including yourself) for you to simply not post in threads about Wii games ever again.
If you want to repeat your hate over and over again, it'd be best to do so in a non-multiplatform site, where you and a bunch of other fanboys can circlejerk over thoughts of Nintendo going out of business.

Tatsunoko is like the Marvel of japan, there is a chance that you might have not heard of them, but it is very unlikely to not have heard or seen at the very least one of their properties, unless you are over 60, but even then, even my grampa used to know about Gatchaman, The Flying House, and Speed Racer (in spanish that is), so yah, it is weird to not have heard about them whatsoever.
Even then, it is a pretty good game, I wouldn't say better than SF4, but it is one of the better VS games.

But if I did that then I wouldn't get to see fangirls such as yourself whine and cry that I hurt your feelings. You don't like it? Tough shit, move on.

yeah, whos ever heard of Tatsunoko? I mean, Science Ninja Team? Macross? Neon Genesis Evangelion? Samurai Pizza Cats? Speed Racer? Only the Weeaboo Japanaphilic Wapanese Otaku Tentacle Rape Nerds (or WJWOTRN for short) know what those are. Everyone else is too busy having sex with SuperModels and bench pressing our mansions to care about those.

Oooh I've heard of Speed racer, but I've never heard of any of those others, nor have I ever met anyone in my entire life who has...not even nerds in my middle and high school. So my original statement stands, pretty much the only people who've heard of them are japanophile anime nerds.

Really? You walked up to them and specifically asked "Hey! Have any of you heard of this series?" No? So my original statement stands, you act as if you are the voice of Joe Video Gamer and you're not.

No but I've never ever heard anyone talking about it. I can't believe you think an anime (not named dragonball z) of all things is common place in any place outside of japan. Or will you need more proof when this comes out and sells 20,000 copies in it's first month?

That's your argument? "I've never ever heard anyone talking about it"? Really? I expected more out of you tmac. Hell, you could've at least taken your "If I haven't heard it, its news to me!" approach a step further. That was just a disgrace to the Joystiq trolling community

"Fangirls." Haha, that's cute. Tmac thinks he's witty.
Look, I'm trying to be nice, pal. Where did I whine and cry? I didn't; just offering some sound, mature advice.

Trying to reason with tmac is like trying to reason with a wall: it makes you look stupid.
As for my insight on this game...never heard of it, but when is it my place to judge a game I've never played, especially if it makes GAMERS!!!!! happy?

This is awesome news. I hope Capcom sticks to their beautiful 2D graphics like in SF2 HD...none of that 3D garbage we see in SFIV.

I'll give the Japanese this, they know how to make fighting games in the Arcades!
This looks like a blast. I mean look how fun it looks, from the animations, to the soundtrack. It's so alive.

All style and no substance? what the hell have you been playing because that sounds nothing like SF4.
Hell, if anything, TvsC is the stylish one. TvsC is FAR too basic, it doesn't become too technical nor offers the support for beginners, not only that, but its mechanics are also far too close to previous iterations.
I might not be that great at fighting games, but at least I appreciate them for what they are worth, something that you don't seem to be able to accomplish. Grow up kid, there is a world outside of Nintendo

Once again, since you don't seem to understand, TvsC has improved a lot, but the updates are not drastic, they are very close to those of previous iterations. To say that SF4 is a radical upgrade upon the SF formula is far from grasping straws, but then again, you seem to be very founded of Nintendo and the Wii, so I wouldnt be surprised if you are one of those that dislikes SF4 just because it isnt available on your console of choice.
"Poor diluted fools should save their failed brand of logic for 'Hardcore vs. Casual debates on N4G or NeoGAF. "
huh? diluted fool? put your guard down buddy, just because one says that SF4 is better than TvsC doesnt mean that it is the end of the world. Anyway, now that you mention it, SF4 is much more accessible than TvsC is :P
"That crack about me as a kid comes off as compliment since I was playing Street Fighter on the Turbo while you were still in diapers transfixed on shiny objects./end rant."
Then its even more sad, because not only you can't back up your arguments, but also your rants are usually expected from children...

I think TvC is better than SFIV, too.
Don't get me wrong — I LOVE SFIV. I think it's wasily the best SF game made to date. It also feels more like a Vs game than a SF game, in many respects. It's a really nice hybrid between the two.
But to me, TvC is basically the true sequel to Marvel vs Capcom, in terms of gameplay and mechanics. I've always preferred the Vs games to SF games because of their greater emphasis on speed, easier to grasp mechanics and just generally much more crazy and fun.
Although I would agree that SFIV is, from a technological standpoint, the superior game, I also can't fault anyone for thinking TvC is the better game or vise versa. They're both awesome games, and that's all there is to it.
That said, ANYONE who claims to be a fan of Marvel vs Capcom (2) owes it to themselves to pick up a copy of Tatsunoko vs Capcom. It's a back to basics approach to the Vs series, but also manages to exponentially expand upon the series' central ideas and mechanics.
Which is to say, it's a better game than even MvC2, in my opinion.
