Amazon.com UK Games Director Chris Poad tells MCV
that his division plans to focus on the things that Amazon "really believes in ruthlessly." The strategy is to be more competitive in pricing, "customer service" (what, like heart stickers on the box?) and selection. The company plans to pay attention to US initiatives like the Xbox Live store
to see if it's interested in similar services.
It'll be interesting to see how aggressive Amazon UK decides to get. The British retail market for games is already far more volatile
than in the States.
