If GT5 was going to be out this year, they'd have announced it already. GT5 is NEVER coming out.

if this can really do "Mario Kart meets Forza" then I'll buy. My wife would have something she could play...

Realistic graphics, sensor readings and physics, but when you hit something you spin around in a 360 and fly straight up and down with stars floating around your car, sounds like a winner to me :P

I'm definitely looking forward to this game Sounds like it could be a hell of a lot of fun.

Then again, we might end up with a Full Auto clone. Lets hope not.

Hmm. I do enjoy Mario Kart. I'll have to look into this as my next racing game, I have zero interest in GT5 (I prefer games not simulations).

Some screenshots there.

It looks interesting, as long as they go all-out arcade on the car handling.

I've got faith in Bizarre due to their past work, but trying to sell this new game as "Mario Kart meets Forza" was clearly an executive trying to ride the coattails of the best of both worlds. To me, that sounds like mediocrity all the way.

To be honest, I'm pretty gutted with its description. The PGR series was yes, both realistic and arcade-y but it never went as far as having "offensive and defensive powerups". Sure, that could add another layer to it but I'm just hoping it doesn't detract from the actual driving/racing. Something that the PGR series did just great.
If I was Bizzare, I'd realise that they had a great formula to make great games and keep it the same. I don't know... Fingers crossed I guess.
