Wow, little people to wear costumes and "run amok?" Way to promote the stereotype that little people are only hired in random gigs to dress as elves or R2D2 or other ecclectic characters, E3!

I can see it now, a little person comes to audition for the "hot male model" part and people say, "No, no, the munchkin 'run amok' auditions are over there."

With the pay rates the way they are, I think the little people will be less worried about running amok in this case.

get off your high horse.. different people are different, are you any better for patronizing them? Are you any better for trying to force a round peg into a square hole? They get jobs and are well respected actors, but they have their niche, just like any other actor or actress with strong features (when was the last time you saw micheal ironside play something other than a hardass?)

It's called Typecasting by Character. Sure, if they're promoting a game about hobbits or whatever, they could hire a 6' model to run around in knee pads all day, but that's idiocy. Kind of like your soap box of a post.

Equality as you're preaching it, is an insult.. People are not all the same, and should not all be treated the same- but people SHOULD be treated with equal amounts of respect and dignity. Your post is little more than "Awww, poor little guys.. somebody needs to stick up for them!"

@eldee: I'm not trying to force anything on anyone. And, if I remember correctly, the last movie I saw about hobbits had actors in it that WEREN'T little people. So according to your "Typcasting by Character," I guess Peter Jackson is an idiot.

I grew up with a close friend of the family who was a little person, so unless you have a similar relationship or history, I think you should shut your mouth about patronization, insults, and stereotyping, because you obviously don't know what you're talking about. If anyone is on a high horse, it's you.

Saria: Yeah, okay- so for a live performace (models and actors fall into the same category, they're putting on a show for a given reason), they'll use trick photography or visual effects. Smart thinking. And for your information, I have a friend RIGHT NOW who is a 'little person' (who incidentally hates that term), so don't presume to know anything about me or what I know. If we want to make assumptions I could easily assume that a 'hot' 6' guy standing next to a 'hot' 3' guy would get your vote for most attractive, all things considered.

And while we're on the subject- "Hot" in today's parlance is the popular assumption of what attracts other people. You can't talk bad about a promotion company trying to hire people for a performance that will best attract people to a certain market.

@Markez: Grow up. If you don't have something constructive to add, then go play TEH HALOZ with all of your buddies from school.

Sly:

Yeah, that could work. Sprinkles is gay, and he's described himself as look like a model. He'd make an awesome male model for Microsoft.

Sprinkles: Yo, you holier-than-thou PS3 fanboys - kiss my arse!

PS3 Male Model: I'm sorry, what are you talking about? Is this some sort of videogame joke? I don't really play videogames.

Sprinkes: Shut up you little hypocrit bitch.

*Sprinkles punches the PS3 Model*

Sprinkles: MY NAME IS SPRINKLES. WHO WANTS SOME?

I have no issues with homosexuals, live near LA, and need employment. However, I'm sure there's plenty more 'man pretty' toolboxes bumming around LA and/or living on the streets in Hollywood. The geek fetish ones probably hang around the Nimoy star.

Er, wait, did you mean Dirty?

Me as a model...? Haha that would be something...although not what you sony fanboys think would happen.

However those boys in the picture above are HOT! I mean compared to the usual run of the mill fugly kids who attend these things. They can get it any day of the week!

Especially if they own a 360...:)

I'm all for equal gender stuff, so giving something for the ladies to gawk at is no problem. There just won't be that many ladies, that's all.

But mini-men? Hell yes. I can't wait to go to E3 and see these 'little people' run around. Oh man I hope one is dressed up like Pikachu.

What's the little-people version of racist? Because I am going to have to seriously try not to be like that.
