How about giving Chris a white sheet for an alternate costume. It would go so well the with tribal war costume for Sheva.

The white sheet would only work if you gave Sheva a Black Panther "uniform".

Come to think of it, Sheva wouldn't look so bad in a leather jacket. It'd be a little hot in Africa though.

And by "considering more DLC", they mean "considering letting you pay more for content already on the disc that you paid $50 for".

That may come across harsh, but charging for a Versus mode is still a dick move, Capcom.

I still accept Capcom's explanation that it wasn't on the disc.

There were absolutely no new assets that needed to be downloaded (hence the small file size) but the file was rather big to just be an unlock key.

The reason most DLC is big is because of new textures/models/sounds/music/etc. The Versus mode DLC needed none of these.

@ Rollins

Without starting the argument over the RE 5 DLC (which Gibbeynater just did), Capcom's statement is correct but that doesn't make it any better when we all know it was originally supposed to be in the game. It's pretty obvious that they had been contemplating about charging for the basic Mercenaries mode beforehand also.

Personally, I'm waiting for RE 6 to show me what a true post-RE 4 game should be like. RE 5 was full of Hollywood cliches, lack of atmosphere, bad inventory management, and didn't make any full advancements with respect to the RE series. All they can think of is reusing the Las Plagas but make them less interesting by augmenting them a little. Why didn't they have some tie in with the T-Veronica/G Virus? Perhaps you would find random zombies stumbling around mixed in with those who were being controlled by the Plagas due to the mix of the two. I could keep going on about how RE 5 was underwhelming for me as a diehard Resident Evil fan but I have nothing more important do such as play games.

Yeah but RE4 didn't do anything with the Resident Evil plot either. Hell it could've been part of a completely different series with no connection whatsoever to Resident Evil, and it still would've worked plot-wise.

I'd like to see a combination of RE4 and RE5's inventory system. A briefcase for your stuff, but only a few slots available to use in real time, and the game doesn't pause when you're looking through either.

And are you seriously bashing RE5 because it had too many 'movie cliches'? Really. In Resident Evil, the series with such infamous lines as "only you, the master of lockpicking" and "You were almost a Jill sandwich!" and "Your right hand comes off?" It's a cheesy series.

Yeah, they're surveying the fans to see what new costumes they'd like- because they'd already gone into the future and included the most popular ideas on the disc months ago... give it a rest, already. I'm so fucking sick of you pussies whining about this shit.

You know it's going to be 70 bucks at EB. It's a 'big-name title' and all that. Get BC: Rearmed if you haven't already, it's 5 bucks on PSN until the 21st, and it's a blast.

Look out for Bionic Commando on Steam this July for 39.99, not only is the PC version superior, it's cheaper too.

What the hell does "day and date" mean anyway? I mean I know is meant by it, but where does the phrase come from? Why can't we just say "the same day"?

I believe it's because when you say "Oh, it's coming out...Monday." One would be confused as to which Monday. But when you specify the date, then you know for sure that it's the same Monday in question. Hence Day AND Date.

I woul have enjoyed more DLC from RE5. But, seeing they locked the Save file and I had to send my PS3 in to Sony. Now I have nothing unlocked anymore. And there no way I'm investing that much time in the game again. Dev's need to Quit locking Save Files, there is no need to do that. all they need to do is lock them to you PSN ID.

There's a backup and restore feature in the settings column on the PS3 that will backup ALL of your save data, including files that cannot be copied. I just put a new HD in my PS3 and it copied EVERYTHING over. I feel your pain though, I lost all my accolades in my DMC4 data once while reformatting my drive... because I didn't use the backup/restore feature.

There is one problem with copying stuff over: if you have a ton of save files, you'll need a HUGE flash drive if you don't happen to have an external HDD formatted in a way the PS3 can understand. It seriously took me 5 minutes to change out my drive and an hour to get all my stuff backed up elsewhere or deleted 9I can deal with reinstalling info later on). Totally worth it though - my 320GB Hard drive means the "delete" option will be ignored for anything and everything :)

By same "day and date" as retail on Steam I'll never believe due to the inconvienences of valve time.

As for RE5, I don't care whether or not Capcom's statement is true or not. A couple kilobytes aren't worth that much money.

I can't pay for DLC for a game that doesn't work. Damn thing tells me there's an issue with my game data and requires me to delete it only to find out that doesn't fix the issue. A known issue Capcom hasn't figured out because they are to busy on future projects to fix the old ones.

Haven't you played Devil May Cry 4 and Lost Planet on PC yet? They're bug-free and perform insanely well even on mid-range hardware.

Valve = over rated. Half Life was good, but it's a decade old. Team Fortress and Portal were just OK, but they really weren't up to par with today's game standards on there own merits.

Left 4 dead was ok, but short, bland, and uninspired.

Only problem is that Steam's games don't have Achievements (360 ones anyway) or Trophies. If they somehow link your PSN and/or 360 accomplishment list (aka nerd cred aka metascore) to Steam, I'd be all about it. As it is now, Steam is great, but I will likely never buy anything on there that is also on a console except some of the smaller indie games.
