HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Next up: Microsoft pays 2 billion dollars to make "Rock Revolution 2" and "Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust" XBox360 exclusives.

Wow.

I don't even really care about this game, but sometimes I just feel like "fuck MS".

Too bad PS3 systems will play games from any region, so it's just a matter of importing the thing to the UK. Hardly exclusive. It'll only take money away from UK retailers and encourage importing from North America.

Besides that, is it really going to sell so well that MS actually wants the exclusivity? I say Activision should let them have it and pocket as much cash as they can from the deal (their PS3 supporters will import it anyway and they'll still get their money), 'cause I highly doubt they're going to see as much money from the game as they might think... it'd be a pretty dumb move on MS' part, if you ask me.

It's quite different to the Ghostbusters scenario. Activision isn't going out of business like Atari Europe was (Atari in Europe having now announced it's closure). In that case SCEE stepped in to take over the publishing role to save it's release on their platforms. Unlike this case where it Microsoft appears to be trying to prevent it's release on other platforms.

maybe Microsoft wants it to be exclusive so they can sell it with their Motion Cam?
it seems pretty plausible

Activision loves their Plastic add ons, I can't say I didn't see this coming though. Hopefully major gameplay changes come with this new board.

Would anyone here actually buy Tony Hawk? Personally, skate boarding games don't interest me. I think more people would rather buy Ghostbusters than Tony Hawk. Though in both the Ghostbusters and Tony Hawk case, I think it's a waste of money on both Company's parts to make them exclusives to a certain system, though, I feel that a Tony Hawk exclusive is a much worse idea than a Ghostbusters exclusive.

Tony Hawk 1 and 2 were excellent. Underground 1 was pretty good, as was 2, but have sucked since then, me thinks.
