Two very different games are available on Xbox Live Arcade this week. We've got robotic badminton (which we affectionately refer to as deathminton) in the form of Blazing Birds and a very interesting take on the puzzle genre in Gel: Set & Match. Even better, both games are actually pretty good. Check out the latest XBLA in Brief and see if either game floats your digital boat.

Haven't played Gel but played Blazing Birds. At first I didn't like it but after I played through the tutorial and learned how to play it I liked it more. Not sure if worth a purchase though but might pick up at a later date when I'm bored.
