Yes. Thankfully confirmed by a calm and collected Tim Schafer halfway through the video, the game's "almost done" and ready for the stage this fall. Maybe Schafer could've told Jack before he took all those steroids? Meh, we'll consider it payback for School of Rock. We kid! We kid!

Yeah, I hate that saying. It always sounds like they are either:
A) Trying to sound impressive
B) Trying to dig the Wii
I know that in reality its neither, but it grabs my eye and bugs me more and more as the current consoles start to get long in the tooth.

Woah woah. I thought Nacho Libre was pretty hilarious. The other movies I agree with.

King Konng???? It could have done without the extra hour, but otherwise it was a good movie.
I say Nacho Libre. The worst movie I've ever sat through (and I recently watched Terminator Salvation and Wolverine so I've survived some shit).

King Kong was actually pretty good, if an hour too long. And the best part is that Jack Black stole the show from one of the better actors of this generation - Adrian Brody.

King Kong was terrible precisely because it was an hour too long. It was paced terribly, there were too many drawn out scenes that made no sense (Kong ice-skating?), and there really wasn't anything good about it to make up for how incredibly bored I was after watching the first 45 minutes of it.

Am I the only one that is tired of Jack Black. I just think he has gone to far with his "act". I absolutely could not stand him when he hosted the videogame awards on Spike. I thought that he would be horrible as a serious actor, but I was surprised by King Kong and would much prefer that he do serious work.

Joystiq forgets that the majority of Americans (the majority of their readers) have atrocious movie tastes. Why do you think all of these horrible movies keep getting made in the first place? I mean, come on..."Baby Mama" is still in Netflix's most popular "new releases".

Yes because I'm so certain that the rest of the world enjoy only art films and smart british comedies.
Please the rest of the world have their share idiots who enjoy crap like Big Mamma and whatever the Jonas Brothers are in.

I was *mostly* kidding. I did like School of Rock more or less but it was definitely one of his cheezier acts. Anyway, the game looks really great and this is hilarious.

Ugg - another Jack Black Crap Attack. Maybe because I actually passed the fifth grade, I despise Jack Black. His performance, or lack thereof, in the Spike video game awards was obnoxious, irritating, and revolting. Thank God I PVR'd it - the fast forward button came in handy skipping over his nauseating self-deluded attempts at humor.
Why the American and Canadian public is so fascinated with this guy his beyond me. Then again, I guess I shouldn't be too suprised; afterall, if television is any indication as to the intelligence of North Americans, it can't be that high. Besides, why air an intelligent show when we can air reality shows of people setting their ba**s on fire.
No wonder Sideshow Bob wanted to destroy television. ;)

I remember when I was young and smug and thought I was so much smarter than everyone else. Christ am I glad I'm past that stage! If I ever went back in a time machine and saw myself I'd punch the younger more annoying me in the face about three hundred times. At least.
Anyway, comedy snobbery is just silly. If you can't laugh at both Johnny Knoxville and Woody Allen then I feel sorry for you.

Your 4th most wanted PS1 game for the PS store is Final Fantasy VIII and you put it right next to VII so your opinion is invalid

Well, that's definetely Jack Black. His trademark humor is all over that promo. Thing is, even if most people don't take seriously his participation, I really think he's gonna make a great job as the lead character. And since Schafer is writing, we can expect pretty insane and 100% sure funny stuff.
What worries me is the gameplay...
