PSN Thursday: Monsters invade the PS3 and PSP

There's plenty of content for you to grab from the US store today, including four demos, two PS1 games and the usual lot of DLC. inFamous and the LittleBigPlanet Monsters pack should probably be at the top of your shopping list this week. If you're a PSP fan, you can take advantage of the just-released Monster Hunter Freedom Unite demo, too.

Guess they really are saving all the good ps1 games for E3, which is fine with me because it's all about Infamous until then :D

Agreed, inFamous looks great, and I only heard about the game a few weeks ago. Gametrailers and IGN gave it a good review, and I didn't know until a few minutes ago that there was a demo up today.
As for MGS and RE, well, I still have the PS1 originals and a 60GB PS3, so I'm good there. :)

Europe just got Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil: Director's Cut today, so I'm guessing by E3 North America will be getting those plus Final Fantasy VII.

When you first post a message an e-mail is sent to you to confirm your comments(s). You also get a pre-made password in the initial confirmation e-mail. Once you have that password you can go back to this page, click on your profile by selecting your name and change the password. Then, from within your setting you can choose to update your picture. However, most of the time pictures won't update. What I have found and many other users through trial and error is to get the picture you want to use and resize it to 79pixels X 79pixels and it should show the update. Sometimes you just have to keep uploading it even though you will get a message saying it was successful and it will take 5 minutes to appear. I have a Mac and use Camino as my web browser but it would never update so I found using Mozilla Firefox works the best.

That Infamous demo is epic. It's not just a great game but a comprehensive extended demo. I played it for nearly 4 hours.

there's a hell of a lot of pop in but it's great fun. make sure you catch a ride on the train after the first mission and just ride it around the city. it's breathtaking.

Infamous demo looks like the only good thing on PSN update. Was hoping for Resident Evil DC and MGS to show up. Maybe next week?

I would buy new LBP levels. Now I know there are tons of them by users, but if they sold premium ones I would buy them. However I will not buy a costume or sticker pack.

I thought the inFAMOUS demo was good but certainly not inCREDIBLE. it's still a toss up between it, Red Faction, and Bionic Commando for me. Open world stuff doesn't wow me, because I generally don't care to wander around outside the main game that much, unless it's an RPG.
I'm going to pick up Bionic Commando regardless of the reviews.
Trying to sign into my EU accout for the RFG mp demo, I keep getting a DNS error :/

Well, I WOULD download the RFG demo, but my PS3 refuses to connect to the internet. I've rebooted both my router and my cable modem, as well as reconnect my PS3 to my wireless connection, and nothing is working. It connects to the router and then refuses to connect me to the internet. No, hard wire is not an option.
It's funny, because I got the DNS error before downloading the inFamous demo. I just retried signing in like 3 or 4 times, and it just worked. I must have tried signing in to either the EU or US account after I played that demo a good 40 or 50 times.
Sigh.

Sony needs to update their damn servers....first time I experience slow download while downloading Infamous demo.....3hrs and its like 70% and its not my ISP cuz I download at max speed 2.2MB/s anytime

The inFamous demo is ****in amazing. I pre-ordered the game before I played the demo (as I always do). I've played it for hours, and the more I play the more I want the full version. I cant wait til next wednesday. Cause I get Infamous and cross edge.
