PSN Thursday: Monsters invade the PS3 and PSP

Agreed, inFamous looks great, and I only heard about the game a few weeks ago. Gametrailers and IGN gave it a good review, and I didn't know until a few minutes ago that there was a demo up today.

As for MGS and RE, well, I still have the PS1 originals and a 60GB PS3, so I'm good there. :)

We most likely will if what I was told is true. I'm never willing to say I'm 100% sure, no matter how good the info is.....just in case :P

When you first post a message an e-mail is sent to you to confirm your comments(s). You also get a pre-made password in the initial confirmation e-mail. Once you have that password you can go back to this page, click on your profile by selecting your name and change the password. Then, from within your setting you can choose to update your picture. However, most of the time pictures won't update. What I have found and many other users through trial and error is to get the picture you want to use and resize it to 79pixels X 79pixels and it should show the update. Sometimes you just have to keep uploading it even though you will get a message saying it was successful and it will take 5 minutes to appear. I have a Mac and use Camino as my web browser but it would never update so I found using Mozilla Firefox works the best.

That Infamous demo is epic. It's not just a great game but a comprehensive extended demo. I played it for nearly 4 hours.

there's a hell of a lot of pop in but it's great fun. make sure you catch a ride on the train after the first mission and just ride it around the city. it's breathtaking.

Red Faction Guerilla Multiplayer demo is missing in the U.S. Had to use my euro account to get it ;)

Well, I WOULD download the RFG demo, but my PS3 refuses to connect to the internet. I've rebooted both my router and my cable modem, as well as reconnect my PS3 to my wireless connection, and nothing is working. It connects to the router and then refuses to connect me to the internet. No, hard wire is not an option.

It's funny, because I got the DNS error before downloading the inFamous demo. I just retried signing in like 3 or 4 times, and it just worked. I must have tried signing in to either the EU or US account after I played that demo a good 40 or 50 times.

Sigh.
