As
promised, GameTrailers premiered a new gameplay trailer for
Modern Warfare 2, featuring firefights in front of a giant jet engine, a S.W.A.T. team deploying, and a guy in a parka (
hooded guys are the new bald space marines!), along with a car explosion that would make the A-Team proud.
As exciting as this footage was, the ending reveals that it's just a
taste of an "uncut and extended trailer" that will premiere on the game's
website on May 24th. Which means that this trailer is an advertisement for a
longer advertisement. We don't mind the tactic as long as the result is more gameplay footage in front of our faces.
