Terminator Salvation PC replacement begins
Evolved Games has begun its replacement program for recalled defective retail copies of Terminator: Salvation on PC. For those of you not keeping score at home, Terminator: Salvation PC shipped with an unfortunate feature, it wouldn't allow users to install the game at all. Add that to the fact that the game itself is virtually unplayable (that's not a glitch, it just isn't very good) and Terminator: Salvation has turned into one of the biggest movie-based gaming debacles since Charlie's Angels hit the GameCube.
Retail PC users looking for a replacement can find more information on Evolved Games' support site. The studio also released a statement apologizing for "any inconvenience that end users may have suffered." Digital distribution copies were unaffected by the bug.

Having played Charlie's Angels for the GameCube, I think it's safe to say that trying and failing to install a game is more fun.

I played the 360 version and just watched the movie, I got to say the game is not as bad as people are saying. of course I am a huge terminator fan, what I really like is it gets the whole terminator feel down, everything about the game feels like your playing on the backlot of the terminator movie. some movie games feel like they just slap a license on a generic game and change a few things, this feels like a terminator game. I give it a solid 7

"Terminal" Salvation?

Is it me or do all Terminator games for the PC have a curse of some sorts? T3: War of the Machines was plagued by install problems as well, and was just a crap game in general.

Maybe SkyNet is trying to tell us something.

its not a glitch, its a fact that the terminator films are actually documentary from the future showing us whats really going on, and skynet will go online in a few years. I for one shall bow down to our computer and robotic terminator overlords

Wait...this is a $60 title, and it's only 5 hours long (according to gamespot)? What the hell? I've had gas that lasts longer than this game.

I enjoyed Bethesda's SkyNET from 1996. First person shooter fun where I could jump in a jeep or steal an HK.

ARGHHH
I don't why companies try to make these rushed quick cash in titles anyway.
I mean the average Terminator Geek probably reads video game reviews.
What are they are hoping kids parents and idiots will buy these?
If they get a good license like this they should try to make it a AAA title, even if the game is not ready for the movie tie in, they would make so much bank, instead of the game ending up in the bargain bin after a month or 2.
Look at the Ghostbusters game atleast they are trying to make a good game.
If companies are just using these games as movie promotions they should be free or dirt cheap, like those burger king games.

Sounds like the game was about as good as the movie, and really, what more can you hope for?
