What the... Um... This reminds me of two things (aside from this game looking incredibly lame that is). And what is up with that muzak?!

1 - WHERE IS MY NEW MUTANT LEAGUE FOOTBALL!??! I'd just settle for a XBLA or WiiWare re-release of the original at this point. Blah, and PSN too I suppose for you kids that own that console.

2 - Why does this remind for some reason of Pitball for the PS1!?

EA wouldn't want to compete with themselves, i suppose.

Though you could do an ISO hack of "Blitz: The League" and add zombies and monsters or something, and call it MLF

Oh, great, just what the Wii needs, MORE carbon copies of already existing and lousy software.

Looks like a European alternative to Madden.

Maybe Tecmo could turn it around and do the same for 'soccer' in America.

I guess Tecmo Bowl flopped on DS, so they didn't want to use that name. This looks like ass. So if I don't want Madden, or this what other options do I have ??

Blitz games are dead ??

Is Mario Football coming ??

What really gets me is the lack of software on Wii in terms of sports/racing games that just goes for a realistic style. It worked fine on the PS1, and Gran Turismo or Madden on PS2 still look alright. Why must everything be cel-shaded and cartoony? Not that it's an invalid style, but it kind of eliminates the point to me.

If you don't understand American Football, then you can go on Wikipedia, read about it, buy a football, and look a lot less lame.

I am particularly impressed by the inclusion of both first downs AND touchdowns -- not to mention the TEN unique teams.

C'est stupéfiant!
