Looks great. I've seen others complain that it looks the same as COD4. They need to get their eyes checked; the graphics have definitely gotten better. A lot better imo.

Dirt? What a noob. Apparently you haven't played all the hot new games with dull gray metal interiors.

Personally I thought the first one was pretty "meh" because everything looked the same. But I was forced to play it because of...friends....until I got fed up with the crappy net code and the split second lag that always threw off my reflexes. But hell yes this looks awesome man, and I didn't even care about it until about 2 minutes ago!

I look at some of the screen shots and the reds and blues are very vivid. Nice change from the last 5 years of gaming(other than TF2 of course)

You can pretty much be sure it's coming to PS3 and 360. I'm not sure about PC though. Maybe not at initial launch.

Please come to Wii! I played Modern Warfare on my friend's Xbox 360 (mine got the Red Ring of Death) and it rocked! Though I prefer WaW (on the 360) over MW, I hope Infinity Ward doesn't make the mistake of giving the Wii "the cold shoulder" again. Off Topic: Give the Wii Gears 3 (that rhymes!)

Not trying to sound like a dick here, but you bought the wrong system if you're looking for those types of games. I wouldn't want gimped versions of those games, specially when a 360 is $200 now.

Nicholas... I'm sure you're a great guy. Nice to everyone, love your family, always looking on the brightside. And good for you, keep on keeping on.
But if I ever run into you walking down a street, or whatever, I'm going to-- and don't take this personally, but I'm going to punch you in the stomach.

Honestly, i'm not going to buy it either way (if i wanted these sort of games, would i have a Wii, or be a lifelong Nintendo fan?), its more of an issue of curiosity, to see if we can't shed some light on Infinity Ward's opinion on the Wii (the rumor of course is that they hate it, and it raises great curiosity)

Don't be silly, of course it'll be on PC at launch. You do realize that COD1 was PC exclusive right? The COD series has always been a big thing on PC, and every main installment in the series has seen simultaneous release on PC. Why would this one be any different?

"There's no real reason for them not to."
Thats kind of up to the developer and publisher, isn't it? I would imagine if it does come out for the Wii it will probably be ported by a 3rd party studio. Hell I think the DS got a version of the first MW and the PSP didn't even get one.
I guess they need to decide if it's worth porting and making accurate gestural controls. I don't know how many copies WaW sold on the Wii but I know most 3rd party mature games have trouble in sales.
I would imagine if it does happen it will be a port for a different developer. I'm sure IW is more interested in polishing up the PS3/360/PC versions rather than the porting of a Wii version.

Rocky, he's not wrong for saying every COD has been available for PC at launch. You can't count COD 3 since that was a console exclusive game developed by Treyarch...just as the CODs that were released for ps2 and xbox there was no reason for COD 3 to come for PC at launch.
Infinity Ward is the original developer of the series (half the team did Medal of Honor before). Maybe what he should've said is that every Infinity War developed COD comes to PC at launch...but he did say main instalment which is the same thing.
Anyway it's obviously coming to PC/360/PS3 at launch. They did it with COD4 and (even though it was their first time) they were able to make virtually identical versions for PS3/360 in terms of graphics. PC had the best version graphically speaking.

I hope it doesn't come out on Wii, so chumps that hear about the game from their friends (who played the real game) go out and buy it and end up with a gimped version, ignorant to the fact that they are being duped, never thinking about getting the superior version.
Not having it on Wii might also encourage them to get a more powerful console with real online capabilities, and possibly keep them hooked on games beyond the novelty of the Wii, which we can all benefit from.

@Kenny Rogers
Joystiq ran an article back in December saying how the Wii version sold more copies in one month than the PS3 version had since launch.
So while I could see Activision putting Treyarch in charge of the Wii version and having IW work on the others (minus DS which would be Vicarious), I severely doubt them not making one entirely

David, I don't see how you can say just because it was developed by Treyarch it's not a main installment. The fact that it's "Call of Duty 3" makes it a main installment. If it was some console spinoff it would have been, "Call of Duty: Console Spinoff" It was the first in the new scheme of making Call of Duty games. Every other COD game is developed by IW followed by Treyarch. This continues today. In fact, it's a great fear of mine that the Modern Warfare line will see Treyarch ruin it. I've never like their version of COD and I don't feel like I'm missing anything as a PC gamer for not having played 3. However, it WAS a main installment, it just wasn't developed by Infinity Ward, the same as World at War is a main installment, just not developed by Infinity Ward. The fact that it was a console exclusive doesn't make it some exception.

It will be on the PC. IW are PC developers first and foremost. Ever played CoD1? PC only.

Khan, always ready with Wii love
refreshing!
But seriously, I don't hate the Wii, but almost every multiplatform game on Wii is a scam. I got a few of the most talked about Wii games for a crazy cheap price, so I'm loving it now.
By the way, I didn't know I had built myself a reputation as a Wii hater, but trust me, all I say comes from the heart, as the Wii was my only "next-gen" console since it's release till like 1 month ago when I bought a PS3.

@Moptimus
I keep hearing you and Mr.Khan say that but there has never been data to support that claim. Maybe it's region specific you are refferring to but global sales date points to the PS3 version at about 3.2 Million globally and the Wii version at about 1.0 Million globally. It has also outsold the Wii version in America by an over 2:1 margain. I would love to see some data from you because everything I've seen says that you are factually innaccurate.
I'm sourcing VG Chartz because I don't have any other information to go by at the moment. I know they aren't usually the best place to get sales data but looking back on data they are usually pretty accurate.
