Gears of War Xbox 360 bundle heads down under

Microsoft is sending a special Gears of War Xbox 360 bundle (depicted above) to our friends in Australia. Included in the bundle are copies of the original Gears of War and Gears of War 2. Sadly, the console itself isn't as special as the box it comes in, for it's of the plain white Pro variety.

The new bundle will hit Aussie store shelves on June 4 and retail for $449 AU.

i think that's wishful thinking bud. you might be able to get an Arcade for that much pretty soon but a bundle like this is going to cost ya since it comes with a Pro and 2 games. it'd be nice though.

being perfectly honest, if GOW2 didn't piss you off i'm going to have to question your sanity. the multiplayer is beyond fixing (see: no more melee out of roadie run, what!?). the ranking systems been hijacked a few times resetting all of my hard earned 3 bar rankings. they have been coming out with new map packs faster than the swine flu is spreading AND they are releasing a new map pack with ALL the maps for 20 bucks!? that doesn't make ANY of you just a little ticked off?

i'm not saying i like infamous, it sucks. but gears was a let down. fo sho.

Why oh why would anyone want to buy Gears and Gears 1.5 with a console confirmed by the WORLD as being the most problematic gaming console ever released? Use your head and pick up the inFAMOUS PS3 bundle with a superior game and superior console.

I'm a Ps3 owner and this pretty much the reason I hate the Ps3 people like Jakko are little bitches.Its good that guerilla mods pay attention and ban these guys from Killzone 2.

Seriously Halo 3 players aren't nearly annoying by comparison.

Infamous is great but to be honest you can't compare it to Gears of War 2,Crackdown perhaps but not Gears of War 2.

What I hate about these bundles is that they don't include anything like let's say the limited edition finish or even a poster.The Resident Evil5 bundle was more impressive.

Buy The Fable II / halo3 bundle and then get the new Platinum Gears of War and I think you can still fetch a LE of Gears of war 2 in some stores.

MS should make an xbox bundle that has, an xbox 360 with master shake on the side that looks like it was a spray painted on, 4 controllers,a wireless headset, 120 GB HDD, The orange box, and Halo 3. That bundle would pwn except I already have all that stuff. BTW where the hell is that so called "massive" orange box update for 360?
