We're one week away from the industry's biggest event, and Joystiq wants to play prediction bingo! For our second annual E3 Expo bingo cards, we've decided to poll our entire staff for their safest and wildest predictions for each of the big three media briefings.

Today we look at Microsoft -- since it's taking the stage first. Click on each of the squares above for more information about our predictions. Microsoft's E3 press conference is scheduled for next Monday, June 1, at 10:30 am PT (that's 1:30 pm Joystiq Time / ET). As always, we'll be liveblogging the event, so you can play along in real time with us.

no offence meant to 360 fanboys (i own both consoles) but why do you always go on about mgs 4 as if it should be rightly yours do you hear sony fan boys go on about halo and gears? no i think its pretty unfair and arrogant

This seems more like a wish list rather than an actual prediction chart.

And Versus was already stated as "exclusive to PS3"

Oh god, I hope those great exclusives like Versus don't end up on the 360. That way we'd have to wait even longer for the game. As annoying as it was when FFXIII went to 360 as well, we do have to wait even longer for the game now and probably we wont get extra stuff like japanese audio because they want both versions to be the same.

Can we make the free space "Fanboy tears"?

You guys skipped a big one, NXE dash update. Adding new features, faster speed and fixing some of the annoying bugs. They said it is much easier to do and can be done on the fly, So why not push it out right before or after the press conference. Would be cool.

As far as Halo 3: ODST it will at least have a gameplay trailer if not a full blown demo, and a date is 100% likely. Alan Wake I hope gets a date, but again it is hit or miss with it. Forza 3, all but confirmed. Peter Jackson's halo project would be another bonus, but again last year it was Halo Wars, before that Halo 3. So this year I suspect Halo 3:ODST as the main "halo" item.

Lol, you mean "Triumphant return of blades" update? The TRB? Maybe it would cut down on all those E74 errors...

After borrowing my freinds PS3 to play MGS4, I can say there is no way that game can reasonably come out on the Xbox 360 without blue ray.

If they announced it for the 360 I think I would have a heart attack.

Also being someone who owns the game and the PS3 as well as the 360 I can say there is no way you have a basis to say that. They could do it without BR and have it span discs. That is not the reason it isn't on the 360.

Splinter Cell has a confirmed 2009 release date. They've gotta start showing stuff for it *sometime* before it comes out. =P

why do i feel like GTA IV DLC will be announced at the sony conference and as exclusive?

Nah, i think i remember(?) hearing from R* that they will release DLC for the PS3 version and make it exclusive, cant remember where i read it though...

I'm just throwing this one out there...

Since the FF XIII demo won't be coming out for the PS3 outside of Japan, maybe Microsoft will announce the same demo being X360 exclusive for North America.

It seems highly unlikely, but I like to think that anything is possible at E3.

That would never happen.

Just like O5 would never happen. Squeenix has stated they wanna try and get a real demo (like distributed via XBL and PSN) of FFXIII out in the future, so making the blu-ray demo into DVD format would be rather useless. Plus there will be Sony rage if that was ever even a possibility.

Not attempting to be a troll here, but why is there always a new rumour about MGS4 going to the 360? Is it because 360 owners deep down inside really want to play the game so bad but refuse to purchase a PS3? Why are a lot so passionate about the topic at hand? The loading screens for MGS4 states that the game is solely exclusive to the PS3 and I THINK Kojima also said it's only for the PS3, but why do the 360 people persist? I understand that it's bingo we're talking about (hence the wildcards), but I'm purely typing about the new rumours that occur every now and then. As you can tell, I own a PS3 and whenever a game is exclusive to the 360 I never think about it jumping multi-platform. That's what's so good about consoles - exclusives. You 360 owners have your superb games and us PS3 owners have our share of superb games.

What about Metal Gear Solid 5 being confirmed for Xbox 360?

really doesn't make sense. The engine is already built for the PS3 as well as the user base.

I love these! It really adds to the whole build up!

i would be excited about a new Zune, doesn't really need to be gaming related. Alan Wake info would be cool too since i'm still exactly sure what it's all about but the last teaser i saw for it was awesome. other than that, i hope MS's conference is better than your bingo board because most of that stuff we already know about. i want to hear about something new at E3.

I vote all 25, Xbox can do no wrong, MS is a different story.

Blu-Ray? Seriously? It's not going to happen.

Not so sure about Killer Instinct, but I'm almost certain we'll finally see an announcement for the Perfect Dark/Goldeneye port and probably a Perfect Dark 2.

know Zero wasn't well liked, but I think that mainly suffered because it went from being a Gamecube game, to the Xbox and then finally rushed out as a 360 launch game. It was a mess of styles and the gameplay wasn't refined.

Also, Banjo-Tooie dropped numerous hints about a new Banjo game. I loved Nuts & Bolts, but I think everyone will agree that we need a more platform orientated sequel.

Theres a couple reasons why I want MGS for the 360 (even if it's not MGS4). For one I don't have the money to buy a second console (let alone the most expensive one). Two I really don't like the Playstation controller, I've never found it comfotable or easy to use. Three why would I buy another console for one game? Maybe 2? I think I'd rather just forget about that game altogether.
I'm not being a fan boy, Just an Xbox 360 user with an opinion.

Maybe this is too small to include, but I'd also like to see an update that allows live media streaming from Windows 7.

Mass Effect DLC to give some insight into Mass Effect 2, maybe it lets you carry on after the end a la broken steel,and has some insight in mass effect 2 a la see the future.

Chris, how can you tell people to stop crying about the costs of another system? You have no idea what their financial position is. C'mon man, you know better than to assume because you or I choose to blow some cash on another system that everyone else is able to do it. You don't know how high their house & car payments are or how many kids they have or what their incomes are, etc.

FF versus XIII for the Xbox 360 is highly unlikely. If you've seen the newest trailer which came with the FFXIII demo it said, in English, "Wordwide only on Playstation 3." Boohoo.

Can we cross off the New Gaming Focused Zune yet?

I think about slightly less than half of the predictions will come true. Best bet would probably be Halo 3: ODST being dated and the motion capture tech. There were leaks about the motion capture tech, and Microsoft would want to milk the Halo 3 franchise while its still at the top of XBL games.

"Xbox live gold membership goes free" could have been on there just for the heck of it.

With this E3 bingo would you please mark them off if they get annonuced please becuse I be playing at home.
