Trust me it is. Played the SNES one and the N64 one on my emulators not too long ago and they're absolutely horrible.

for me it depends on mood, the tv set plays a part also. i was playing some snes games a few months back and i could tell the games were old but i got back into the spirit of playing them. btw clay fighters was a favorite rental of mine for a short period. big bad mr. frosty

Too soon after Punch-Out!!, too soon before Tiger Woods 2010

same problem Boom Blox, Grand Slam Tennis and Ghostbusters have/will have (though for GST and GB replace Punch-Out!! with Tiger Woods and Tiger Woods with The Conduit)

That's what the rumor is, anyway, that S&S WiiWare is being held back for them to show it off at E3.

I don't know, I wasn't aware of others arriving at the same conclusion. It's just putting 2 + 2 together, given the quality of the game. However, with Night Game and the one based on icarus legend coming, I don't think Nintendo would need S&S to further show the quality of WiiWare; a bit of overkill, pehaps.

But it's good to see my thinking has logic. Thanks for the info.

Damn ... Just for setting up his PS3? Thats like taking candy from an autistic baby.

Anyway ... Infamous for me as well. I'm also going to get Cross Edge. My birthday is coming up next weekend so I'm thinking I'll be able to get a few of the games I've missed out on this month.

I'm still kind of obsessed with playing UFC Undisputed though. Maybe I can get myself away from that one for a while.

I'll probably ask for pre-orders of Fight Night Round 4, Ghostbusters, Red Faction, Rock Band PSP, Class Of Heroes PSP, Crimson Gem Saga PSP and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite PSP and just hope to get one or two of them from the list. It gives them a list to pick from incase they are tight on funds and what have you.

yeah, he's a nice guy. i can't wait to start playing sucker punch's latest masterpiece. and johnny, monster hunter portable 2nd g is amazingly addicting. so i would imagine that unite would be too. and rock band unplugged is great fun too.

Wow, there's been so many great games these past few weeks. inFAMOUS + that Trico trailer is really making me jones for a PS3. I was planning on getting either a 360 or a PS3 by the end of the year, and even though I was leaning towards a 360, PS3 is definitely gaining some huge ground in my mind. Sure, all my friends have 360s and it'd be fun to play with them, but I want Trico so bad :(

But thankfully even the Wii has been getting some awesome games lately, what with Punch-Out, Klonoa, and Majora's Mask on Virtual Console (hey, I never got to play it before), so at least I'll actually have stuff to keep me occupied for the time being, unlike last year.

On a gaming console aspect I would say PS3. However since all your friends have a 360, I would probably go with that, it's always fun to play with your friends. I was the first one out of all my friends to get a next gen console (which was a PS3) now 5 of my friends own a PS3 and one of them switched from 360 cause he got the RROD and was too lazy to send it to Microsoft.

The latest rumor going around is that sony will announce that GOW 3 is coming at the end of this year. If that's true, I only hope that it's actually ready for end of year and not being rushed so sony has a mainstream heavy hitter for the holidays.

TMac: God of War 3 doesnt need to come out this Holiday Season...not to mention the other 2 came out in March....why not keep that with the 3rd one??

I'm much rather it come out in March as to not hurt my wallet TOO much not to mention its a possibility it COULD get drowned out if released this Holiday season...

Oh, I do my research on stuff pretty well, and I mean, I don't post on Joystiq a lot but I follow all gaming console news, so I know what's out there, though convenient best of lists from you guys are definitely appreciated. I pretty much know exactly what I would want for either system, and if I'm being honest with myself, Playstation 3 has more games that I would enjoy (namely Metal Gear, Ratchet and Clank and the aforementioned Infamous and Trico), but all of my friends own 360s instead of PS3s, which is where the conundrum comes in. It's not that important really since I don't plan on making a decision until much later in the year, though.
