Sega confirms Aliens vs. Predator's appearance at E3

Sega of America confirmed today that Aliens vs. Predator will be demonstrated during E3 2009. The company also reiterated that several titles it previously announced for the show would still be in attendance.

We eagerly await getting our hands on the "xenomorph vs. human vs. whatever the Predator species is called" title and are taking it as a good portent for the game's projected Xbox 360, PS3 and PC release in "early 2010."

Of all the Aiens games I really hope that this one actually comes out. AvP2 was entirely sweet and the trailer and few screens they released for this one look seeeexy.

It would be great if Sigourney Weaver fell off her medication and stumbled into E3 screaming about an alien nest and her need to destroy the mother. And no one helped her or ushered her away; the crowd was just embarrassed by her and did their best to ignore her.

Joystiq: why don't you add a 'PC' tag along with its console brethren. The article clearly states it'll have a PC release as well.

On many occasions I've been mislead into thinking a game is only being released for "X" console because of your stupid tags.

Every time I see this title I feel a little sorry for the lonely predator and how all the aliens to team up on him. Sounds a little unfair.

Really? Have you seen the Predator movie? (the 2nd one does not count). I think he can handle himself just fine. He rips spines out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The second Predator movie does too count even you dont like it. it's still part of the predator canon.

@uncle jesse: Any Danny Glover movie where he doesn't say that he's "getting too old for this shit" doesn't count. But Predator 2 was still ok, even with that glaring omission.

This time it wasn't so much of an issue since the article clearly stated the fact. But on many, many occasions it's clearly labeled for consoles, but very rarely for PC.

Instead of asking us here when e3 is and then waiting for a reply, you could have searched for it yourself by typing e3 in that little search bar in the upper right hand corner of your window. I really hope they can deliver in the multiplayer department. The idea is awesome, but it's going to be hard to execute properly.

Far as I know, they were called 'One ugly mother fucker'.. say's so in each of the films...
