Guess it's time to finally pick up MGS4. In my defense, I've still got great games on my shelf that I haven't had time to play yet (Assassin's Creed, Valkyria Chronicles).

PAL version is GH i believe, maybe because we have an uncharted bundle they dont' want to diminish it?
or perhaps waiting for right before the sequel.

yeah. i've been waiting the longest for Heavenly Sword to go on the cheap. its about $35 used at GameStop, but that's still pretty pricey for a used game that's nearly 2 years old, especially when better games (R&C, MGS4) are more recent and cheaper new...starting June 16th anyway.

What? I thought Heavenly Sword was pretty good, it was my second game for the ps3. My first was Lair which I believe is like trying to include Haze. I think it was a pretty good God of War clone, a decent attempt the likes of which should receive a sequel. I have to say though, I enjoyed playing as Kai instead of Nariko in certain missions.
For example, the mission where your located on a bridge fending off guards as your step father is trying to make his way back to you was amazing. Using the aftertouch to line up headshots, just made that mission stand out from others.

@Doreo That bridge mission was exactly what killed the game for me. I mean, how long did it take for the old motherfucker to get over to you? It felt like an eternity. And hurt or not, I mean come on. You've got an army of baring down you, you'd think he would have put a little more kick in his step. I just would've loved the game if you played as Nariko the whole time, I just didn't see the point in playing as her sister....who at the same time seemed to have some sort of lesbian attraction to Nariko.

i personally liked the kai segments, particularly the bridge scene and the gondola one. i thought HS was really good for what it was - the production values were great and it told an interesting story. too much hate on HS.
really, where the F is uncharted? that game has got to have sold way more than many other of these greatest hits, and it widely acclaimed. plus its platinum in UK!
Well at least im getting it from gamefly soon. the only thing i didn't like from the demo was it seemed like too much action, not enough exploring/acrobatics/etc. for my particular tastes. we will see.

Uncharted was the first game I got for my PS3. I've played through it 3 times. It is one thing that a lot of other games out there aren't: worth the $59.99 price. Go out and just drop the cash. You'll be glad you did.

Heavenly Sword is not a bad game at all. It's just that it was short (took me 8.5 hours to play, some report 6 hours).
At the time, everyone tore it a new one for being short. But nowadays, there are plenty of 6 hour games for 360 and PS3 and the reviewers don't seem to get hung up on it.
Give Heavenly Sword a rent, you'll probably like it.
Lair is unvarnished crap.

No, I couldn't care less about a game that looks as awful and generic-jrpg as FF-13. They would also sell a hell of a lot more copies of a remade 7 than 13 could ever hope to do. The only way it would be able to compete would be combined sales with the 360 version.
But I have a hard time thinking how they're going to work on this with 13 and versus 13 still in development.

Ha ha ha ha, ok. Final Fantasy VII DEFINED what is now accepted to be generic JRPG crap. XIII looks like another VII (which makes sense, because they've been pretty open about the fact that that's what they're going for).

i dont think Activision want to sell CoD4 at a budget price yet.
