If you're a fan of the series it's pretty damn good. And if like the online component it makes it pretty worth it too.

Time to get both R&C and MGS4. My wife will hate me - I've already told her I want inFAMOUS for fathers day, yet she says I haven't even unwrapped Mirrors Edge from Christmas.
Strange that Uncharted isn't on the list, like others have said. You would think they would want to promote the IP right now since #2 is around the corner.

Sell Mirror's Edge on ebay or something and put the $$ and time it'd take to play towards inFAMOUS. You won't be disappointed. Mirror's Edge is a rental at best (if you're not insane about shaving 1/10 of a second off your time-trial scores)

Advil- I am one ofthe few that really liked Mirror's Edge. The combat is frustrating, story is bland, but if you can deal with dying and don't mind a lackluster story, it is a really fresh first person experience. Very unique and one of the more memorable games for me from last year.

Uhh army of two is 20 new at gamestop, devil may cry 4 is already 30 new, Bad company is 20 new, so pretty much just half of them are getting price drops....lets just hope the other half dont go back up in price :x

there are probably controllers with 360-like triggers, but i personally think the clip-ons are better, especially at that price.

I have a PS3 (and 360) but and I haven't bought any of the exclusive games listed here, and still probably won't. That's my biggest issue with the PS3, the games haven't appealed to me very much. Still a great console, but if it weren't for the Blu-Ray player, it'd never be used.

I'd say give them a shot. Someof them have surprised me quite a bit. Like, the demos for Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank left me with a so-so opinion, but I got both games in trades, and they are both very fun. Although KZ2 is generic and clunky, it is definitely worth playing through if you like shooters.
LBP isn't very exciting to me, but it's one of the few games my GF will play with me. The Metal Gear series hasn't appealed to me since the first Solid title, but everyone else seems to like em.
You might be surprised. Plus, I would highly suggest looking into PSN exclusives.

I have LBP and I haven't played it since December. I don't care for it. I almost bought KZ2, but I didn't like the demo very much (yes, it did look pretty though!). Only games I have that I really like are Wipeout HD and Pixel Junk Eden.

I guess I will, but it's another game that is supposed to be great that doesn't seem to appeal to me right off the bat. Maybe I'm just getting really picky in these days of my late 20s. :P I think working on games too tends to suck the fun out of them. :(

I bought Devil May Cry 4 at Blockbuster video brand new for $16 about two months ago. They also had Fallout 3 special edition in tin for $40 brand new. They were even cheaper after my gf's employee discount. I guess this is still good news for people who don't like shopping around for the best price or who normally overpay for everything at Gamestop.

I got a near-mint copy of DMC 4 off of eBay for about $15 - $20, so I think it's kinda late for Sony to include a few of these games. Just eBay or Amazon search these games and you'll probably find better deals (except for MGS 4 and maybe Ratchet & Clank).
Also, where's Uncharted? That game is still popular and is still pretty high in price. I'll check around eBay to see if I can get a good deal on it.

Uncharted not being on the list is because Uncharted is packed with the 160GB PS3 bundle so its a no go. If Uncharted wasn't packed with the 160GB PS3 I am sure it would be a Greatest Hits title. Its even been out for 2 years! With Uncharted 2 coming out later on this year I am sure Uncharted would of dropped in price just like how last year Resistance Fall of Man dropped to $30 months before Resistance 2 came out. All of those games can be found at cheaper prices like Ratchet and Clank I got for $14 on clearance at Target last year and Battlefield Bad Company is $20 on clearance at Sears for PS3. DMC4 I seen at Target for $30 but its never in stock. MGS4 I bought for $34 on Gamefly a few months ago but its nice to see it at $30 for those who want a brand new copy.

Gamestop is still selling used copies of Uncharted for $40, and new copies for $60. It seems to me like that game is still selling well. It makes sense to keep it out of the greatest hits while the game is still selling at the higher price point.
