My thoughts exactly, SKY as we all is among the leaders in Media. And Microsoft has the .NET architecture thereby an amalgamation of both of these would lead to the formation of SKY.NET, which after a few acquisitions and other deals would lead to SKYNET !

" ITS THE THE BEGINNING OF THE END!"

I'd like it in the U.S., much rather have news from another nation's perspective instead of U.S. Xbox Live content (a stupid Bob Saget game show and whatever other crap they funnel onto the service).

Did Bob Saget change his name to Chris Cashman at some point in the past and just not tell us?

Would be pretty good, considering we can't use Hulu or any services like that in the UK anyway. (even a lot of Youtube content is locked out to us).

This is hardly a replacement to Hulu....not only because it lacks the program variety of Hulu, but also because Hulu is completely free and full of ads -_-;

Obviously not a replacement, but it's the next best thing..

Also, I don't think there's a single person in the UK who doesn't already have Sky. And if you're like me and live in a house with a lot of other people, you can't really watch what you want most of the time anyway.

As far as I'm concerned, this is great.

Id actually rather them work on something else. Seems like I have like 5 devices that get web access, I dont need another. Something more game related would be nice to me.

Is this going to be like the press release Microsoft gave like 2 years ago saying that the xbox would get an update in the UK THAT SUMMER to add BT vision box functionality to it. As in that they will just forget about it and never ever mention it again?

This is perfect for someone like me. Very excited. More (hopefully) great Xbox news to come next week too.

PS3 owners only get a stupid set-top box but 360 owners get Sky!?!?! If I was immature I would throw a tantrum!

But the main question is, does it allow for content to be saved automatically, a la Sky+?
If not, then I'll stick to my imaginary sky+ box for whenever I actually get around to getting a damned subscription to the thing.

This is being rolled out simultaneously in Ireland .... would it really hurt to say UK and Ireland in these articles?
