Wow, first with Tales of Vs. and now this. Does joystiq care about anything other than graphics? I mean, ps1 and 70% of ps2 must have been horrid for you, because of their non-ultra HD 4981941p graphics.

Even though this is early footage, you have to expect that people will take it as a sign of things to come. And yeah, you compare this to what's already available as far as graphics go and as far as what's going to be coming (see: Fragile), this game looks to be a far cry from anything enjoyable. It looks like the gameplay will mainly involve you flailing your arms about like a mad man trying to perform impossible combos until you finally give up and burn the game in effigy.

I watched this video yesterday and thought, while it's not something we should hang the game for, it's not terribly exciting. Take it for what it is--an early video.

Why release something so obviously early in development like this? The interviews and screens were enough to get people excited. This... not so much.
Clearly, it will look better than this when it's released. But, again, why release it looking so rough? Blah!

Dude, they are just being honest. Very few game trailers are released in their real quality - most are rendered in some 3D software, not actual console.
Give folks a credit for releasing early preview made on Wii itself.
If Conduit isn't made out of retards (and I hope it is not) I'm sure that they are reading the comments right now. Because common sense says that there is no other reason to release such preview at the time.
P.S. But that's really bad PR move. There is a reason why demos looks better than a real thing...

but to be fair, i thought the same way when i first saw the conduit but it definitely made improvements and im fairly excited for its release.
this footage has to be pre-alpha, im sure the game has more potential than this.

Despite them releasing some low quality footage, I am still grateful for it, as it does indeed reveal gameplay. Hopefully the graphics become more polished near its release. Don't screw this one up HVS!

I think they are in water. The first dude walking in has what appear to be ripples around his feet. After that though, the ripples vanish.
