Ubisoft hints at publishing No More Heroes 2

The above video is from an Ubisoft teaser video for some E3 coverage they'll be ... you know what? We'll tell you about that another time, stay focused. As you can see in the screen, the female staffer has a helpful Post-it note stuck to her foot that includes the acronym NMH2 as in ... No More Heroes 2.

If we're reading the signals right, it not only means the game will be at E3, it means that Ubisoft has picked up the publishing rights. Here's hoping we haven't missed the mark.

Yeah. No More Heroes 2. Yay. Whatever. The big question is why the f doesn't that sticky say BG&E2?

Is that a rhetorical question? Cause they did announce it wouldn't be appearing at E3 this year for some Good-awful reason.

Kotaku had a story on NMH2 yesterday about its having dual beam Katana gameplay.

Every time someone sends me a Kotaku link, I saw the info on Joystiq first.

There is supposed to be a new trailer for this game on the 30th, and now it'll be at E3, too?

So, is that list the following?

SCV = Splinter Cell 5
AC2 = Assassins Creed 2
NMH2 = No more Heroes 2
R6JE = Rainbow Six

Ahh, yes, RUSE, my apologies. I thought I saw an R and a 6 and just assumed it was a Rainbow Six game. Its definitely RUSE.

If they do publish it, I hope they do a better job with it than they did with NMH 1.

What did Ubisoft change in NMH1?

Or do you just mean some of the various problems in NMH, in which case you do realize that they just published it, right? They don't own or control the developer, and IIRC all of the dialogue (script and voices) were part of the original production (no Japanese dub).

I know the difference between publishing and developing, ducky. I know they left out the manga that was in the manual in Japan and I know it took me forever to actually find a copy of the damn game in the first place. They also didn't advertise it at all.

I think it's a bit more than a hint, given that there aren't (m)any other games that could be shortened to 'NMH.'

This would be nice, had it not been obvious that NMH2 was coming to America. I am kinda disappointed, I had been hoping that XSEED or Marvelous would publish it. Ubisoft logos make me feel sick anymore.

Ubisoft has left me in despair!
