If you've been swooned by both Team Ico's self-titled adventure/puzzler Ico and Media Molecule's DIY platformer LittleBigPlanet -- and seriously, who hasn't -- you should turn your attention to a recently discovered image depicting Sack-ified versions of Ico and Yorda, running away from an illustrated castle. A Media Molecule logo embedded in the image lends some amount of credence to the picture -- as does a recent tweet from Media Molecule which confirms it is responsibility for the art.
What's the image mean, though? Is it perhaps just a doodle from one of LBP's artists? Is it a tribute to one of Media Molecule's favorite user-made levels? A hint at an upcoming costume pack? Better still, is it foretelling the coming of an Ico theme pack? We'll do our best to squeeze some answers out of Media Molecule at E3.

Or is it a promotion that goes with the announcement of Trico?

Not as renown as that "Hero of Legend vs. the Xbox Troll" level, eh? Ah? Aww.

Those are some really ugly kids. They're like mal-formed Peanuts characters.

You can get a copy for somewhere around 20-30 bucks on Ebay. I just bought one for a friend a couple of months ago because I feared lending him the PAL copy I had imported (with the glorious box art).
I guess I should state it here for anyone that doesn't know: Shadow of the Colossus is still available from Amazon for 19 dollars plus shipping. Anyone looking to play it doesn't need to go the Ebay route just yet, or to buy from a used game retailer. Every time Ico/SOTC comes up, someone always sighs over SOTC being out of print, when really it just isn't carried in any brick and mortar stores anymore. I guess it could be out of print, and Amazon is just sitting on a huge stock pile, but it seems unlikely. Ico is out of print however, which is a shame, but you can still find a copy if you search around.
This has been a test of the Bananaboat public service announcement system. Your regularly scheduled programming will return after the beep.

Nice! Finally some DLC worth buying for LBP other than MGS4's.
Oh, and btw, they're not that related, but here's Shadow Of the Patapon :D

Ah, Ico. Bringing depth of narrative to LittleBigPlanet. Little demonic Sackboy may not speak little radiant Sackgirls language, that's what makes it so touching!

This could actually make me pop Little Big Planet in for the first time in months. I hope they can deliver. How cool would it be if they used Little Big Planet to announce Trico at the Sony press conference while they were at it?

I can't believe I've never seen that level. That was simply incredible.
Oh, and I would very much love an Ico theme pack.

Does this mean...HAND HOLDING FEATURE!!!1!!1!!!1!? Well, you can hold each other...but not just hands...if that were true that would be kinda limiting, unless you can make some cool challenges with it. Maybe this means we'll get a long stick we can wack things with now? Maybe it can be customizable to swords and lightsabers and such? Twould be wicked, though i'd stay with the stick(especially if it had a nail in it)

EEeeeeeeee!!!!
I would love Ico costumes and Ico levels! Maybe throw in some SoTC levels aswell? I know that there are some really impressive Ico user made content so MM will have to make something pretty dam awesome to compete with the user made stuff (not that its a competition but people can play the user made levels for free so to justify the cost of buying DLC it'll have to blow the user made levels out of the water). I will be buying this because I am a LBP DLC whore, yes it is an addiction.
