See the first (French) trailer for Lego Rock Band

We're not sure if we were intended to see the first trailer for LEGO Rock Band in French, but it certainly adds something to the surreality of the whole experience. Take a trip into the utterly bizarre right here.

Also, we know a lot of you rolled your eyes when you first heard about this game, and, who knows, maybe it still will be a total cash-in. But if your heart doesn't melt a bit when you see that stupid curve of a hand cranking up the volume knob, then you're made of stone. Stone.

First and foremost this game is made for younger players so most of the on disk songs will be kid friendly and be devoid of the sex, death and emo angst that the regular game gets regularly. Also it's a good way to keep Spongbob and Jonas brothers out of your playlist by giving the kiddies a game of their own.

Would've preferred to see some actual gameplay footage...mostly because I'm curious how the fretboard translates to LEGOization.

This is stupid. I either want Legos out of videogames, or relegated to 8-bit. That would make sense. Or something with eggos....

i don't really like the idea of a lego rockband, or other lego games
but i like the last part when a lego piece fell on her head... hahaha

I would rather them release the LEGO stuff as DLC so I can just use my RB2 disc. I don't think I'll be interested in most of the LEGO RB music, but I certainly want the minifigs.

I don't know what's up all your asses today. I think it's great for a friday. I enjoyed Lego Indy, Not so much Lego Batman, and this, yeah, this looks pretty sweet. But that's probably because I don't give a damn about graphics you ps360 butt monkeys.

Coming to the US in Fall 2009, Europe summer 2010 and Australia never (going by past Rock Band schedules).

In my opinion, cross marketing is one of the most gimmicky and disingenuous production ideas a publisher can employ. Did anyone listen to the lyrics in that song? I would genuinely start crying within 5 minutes of having to hear that on loop. That shit is for games what reality TV is to television.

I'm curious as to what situation you think would force you to hear that song repeated for five minutes.

Hey, the end of the trailer says Nintendo DS. Was this already confirmed? I wonder if it will play like the PSP version.
