Stan Bush's 'The Touch' now in Guitar Hero World Tour for free

Truthfully though, we're writing this post because we horde every chance to embed "The Touch" into Joystiq like a mother stuffing her asthmatic son with vitamins hoping that the nutrients within will help to someday make him stronger. Now, let us be as we let every note of Bush's crooning pump through our veins.

zbxv @ May 29th 2009 1:10AM
Holy crap! Optimus Prime killed GLaDOS!
343 Guilty Fart @ May 29th 2009 2:02PM
I thought that was me for a second.
*I am a genius*
VaultICEE @ May 29th 2009 1:13AM
...Still wish it was in Rock Band ;_;
To The Max @ May 29th 2009 1:19AM
Wow, that's pretty awesome... now we just need the Karate Kid song.
Jawmuncher @ May 29th 2009 1:27AM
Thank God its the original and not that shitty new remake of it for Transformers 2.
That song fails so hard

Ravage NZ @ May 29th 2009 2:17AM
It's not the original. It's the 2007 version.
Premature ejaculation man @ May 29th 2009 3:34AM
I couldn't watch that. It was so horrible
KFelon @ May 29th 2009 8:25AM
It's really weird seeing the "new version" and comparing it to the original music video here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZKpByV5764
They're shot similarly, however the new version hands down sucks.
Yuccadude @ May 29th 2009 1:36AM
Oh, if only evolution produced giant transforming robots to prove its theory as fact, then we could all rest easy.
Robert Maynard @ May 29th 2009 1:44AM
I'm fairly sure that's not part of the original or current model of evolutionary biology. :|
traceur_ryuk_shinigami @ May 29th 2009 1:42AM
Is he holding the ray sphere?
Yuccadude @ May 29th 2009 1:44AM
I believe that is the Spark or something that gives Transformers their life energy or something
NeoGohan @ May 29th 2009 2:03AM
Autobot Matrix
Traceur_ryuk_shinigami @ May 29th 2009 2:05AM
I'm guessing you haven't played inFamous...
Foetoid @ May 29th 2009 2:08AM
You both need to be shot, repeatedly.
Thats the Matrix of Leadership, "the one thing, the ONLY thing, that can stand in my way" (as quoted from Unicron). It's has infinite power and the leader of the autobots carries it in his chest. As someone who has not only memorised the entire original Transformers Movie, but also sound effects and lyrics, your comments make me wanna strangle myself with my nunchuck cord.
NeoGohan @ May 29th 2009 2:14AM
I hope you aren't talking to me Foetoid. :X I know this damn movie and love it. I was just too lazy to explain.
traceur_ryuk_shinigami @ May 29th 2009 11:40AM
I think you all need to be shot for failing to get the joke...
Swarley @ May 29th 2009 3:09AM
I've would've much rather had the Transformers theme by Lion, but free is free.
Bryan T @ May 29th 2009 4:16AM
Eh, a bit to sappy and soft for my personal tastes.
Reminds me of some softer Van Halen, like dreams.
Petebot330 @ May 29th 2009 11:08AM
I guess you can’t appreciate music ironically...
maestro610 @ May 29th 2009 4:24AM
Here's the thing about "The Touch"... and just the strange places where that song will suddenly pop up.
I think on a show like Chuck you'd expect to see it and it was appreciated....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esLK8w87h8A
but when you're watching a Paul Thomas Anderson film and someone is attempting to build a rock career based on this song its HILARIOUS:

having said all of that its an instant download...
Craig @ May 29th 2009 4:47AM

Boff @ May 29th 2009 5:16AM
So is this the song from the animated Transformers: The Movie or a new version?
The pic is telling me yes but that video is of the Megan Fox film. Sorry, I mean Transformers film.
Just reading the post title made the memories come rushing back (of the animated movie).
Good times!!!
PN04 @ May 29th 2009 6:26AM
Yes the animated version, truly Stan bush's greatest moment. Personally I was more a fan of "Dare" but even more so of "Hunger" which I beleive was performed by NRG.
Mu93n @ May 29th 2009 2:32PM
3:20 hahaha best part of that video such cheesy music for such a gruesome scene xD
The Dark Wayne @ May 29th 2009 6:47AM
awwww God no im gonna cry! Fucking hot rod! He was fine without your help!
GewurztraminerX @ May 29th 2009 7:54AM
"So ... now you know"
And knowing is half the battle!
er, wait... wrong 80's action figure/animated series franchise reinvisioned into 21st century live action film...

treqie @ May 29th 2009 9:12AM
Is it only available in the US?
Zoot Suit Jedi @ May 29th 2009 10:18AM
Would have been cooler if it was "The Touch" from Boogie Nights.
You've got the touch.
You've got the powaaaa.
FOXHOUND @ May 29th 2009 1:13PM
LOL Still one of the best moments.
Of course, even the ROCKBAND crew in the rank listing called "Dirk and the Digglers" was funny to see too.
xFenixKnightx @ May 29th 2009 10:29AM
Im sooooooo gonna download this mother!!! :)
Brandon @ May 29th 2009 11:37AM
Where did that great looking transformers picture come from?
Mazrael @ May 29th 2009 11:43AM
Stupid Insects.. too many damn humans in that video, let alone the film, it's all about the robots, did they never see the first G1 series..
Hot Rod was for the kids, he was bloody useless, he moped around series 3 until Prime reappeared about series 4..
Michael @ May 29th 2009 12:05PM
i agree with PN04. I liked Dare better.
green11420 @ May 29th 2009 2:38PM

This song is everywhere.
Imran @ May 29th 2009 3:57PM
Great. Old washed out guys trying to look hip. They just should have used the original song. LAME!
