Fun fact: you shouldn't ever give those cards back to the hotel because they can contain personal info.

Why would they even need to bother, since they have your personal information on their computers anyway?

Why is the Joker so cool? I mean really, in the lore he's an insane homocidal manaic that basically just kills everyone he possibly can without any care whatsoever.

Only reason hes so popular is because fairly decent actor Heath Ledger went and killed himself on his Rx drugs and the media made a big deal about it because people were sick of hearing about the Iraq War and gas prices. Freaking annoying how many people across the boards I vist have the joker as their avatar, and im sick of hearing the "why so serious" line too. If Heath Ledger hadnt died, no one would give a crap about the Joker. Makes me want to build a freaking time machine, go back to when Heath was about to get high, slap the pills out of his hands and say "no god damn it, Im not going to let you screw up the internet."

/end rant
/cast level 9 flame shield
/equip anti "why so serious" armor.
/uncheck "email me when someone replies"

Umm..Yeah the oker was cook way before the Dark Knight in pop culture.

If anything, it was the 90s Batman the Animated series with Mark Hamill as the Joker that set the things were they are.

Or Jack Nicholson as the Joker in the first 1990s Batman movie.

Or the Killing Joke by Frank Miller

Or when he killed Jason Todd(Robin II)

Or The 1960s Batman show with Adam West and Cesar Romero as the Joker.

So don't get it twisted that he's cool now because of the desease Heath Ledger, Ledger is just apart of the awesome Joker legend now...

The reason the Joker was so freaking awesome in Dark Knight was:

1. Joker is already awesome.

2. It got combined with the Hangman plot.

This made it extra incredible. The Hangman's lunacy crossed with the unpredictable insanity of the Joker. A better villain cannot be made, except maybe Nasty Canasta in Duck Dodgers.
