I think it has something to do with weather effects like tornadoes and maybe tons of NPCs at once (the riots)

Sorry, forgot step 2.
Wait.
Wait a very long time.
Takes Joystiq's comment system literally forever to update it, especially during high traffic times. You may have to wait til after E3... Also, the comment system hates IE.

Remove the word teaser and you already have a preliminary accurate review of it

I so wanna play this game now. The shattered glass just showed off their physics engine in REAL TIME. Meanwhile, attack for massive damage.

Hmm. I still haven't played Crisis 1 or the addon/expansion/whatever it was. For some reason I just don't feel up to buying a video card upgrade to play one game (everything else I play - mainly TF2/L4D - works just fine on my 8800, which I got shortly before Crysis was released).
I just wonder what sort of video card upgrade fallout Crysis 2 is going to cause.

Crysis works perfectly fine on an 8800. In fact, I can play it with a custom Very High config just fine on my 8800.

True, I do so hope they gimp the console version not the PC version like other games do...
But if their engine truly is as scalable and optimised etc as they say it is, then hopefully it will just scale down from the PC version and still be good for consoles, (but leave my pretty pretty PC graphics alone!)

Stop whining, it is a much more optimized engine. At GDC, it looked great running on console. And I'm sure if it runs pretty on consoles, pcs will have no probs. It just depends which way the port is coming from....I just hope for some cross platform.

Hrm, perhaps I shall have to buy it when it's on sale on Steam then. I do only have an 8800 GTS 320 MB though.

I hate it when you watch a trailer that is all "SMOKE AND MIRRORS" and guess what, they've actually given us one that is just
Smoke and Mirrors.
