Fight Night 4 enters the ring June 25th

EA's fourth iteration of the Fight Night series not only looks better than it ever has, but it's coming very soon to a store near you. EA tells us at their press conference in LA that the game will drop June 25th on the 360 and PS3 -- five days sooner than we expected it.
So get the gloves on and taped up and make sure that mouthpiece is in nice and secure. You've got about three weeks to get down to fighting weight.

Am I the only one that liked FN3's system better than this one (judging from the demo)?

Yes

No, you're not. FN4 (the demo, at least) is terrible compared to the past three games. Just awful.
There is no "Total Punch Control," which is the main draw of this game. You don't control punches in real-time anymore. Instead, you complete the motion and then the game throws your punch. It's worse than a button press. Also, you can no longer control the force of your punches with the analog stick. You use a shoulder button "modifier" this time around. And the old parry system, while ridiculous, was world's better than the new one (where your guy becomes frozen in time if the opponent dodges your punch).
Huuuuge step backward.

I played the demo and there is a major design flaw. To easily win, all you need to do is repetitively throw haymakers. The computer will only block. Eventually the blocks stop working and you will knock him out. I hope they fix this.

Playing the demo (PS3) has made me consider moving to UFC.
The controls in FNR4 were horrible to me, and I will not buy it unless I can customize the controller the way I want it.

One thing that could be cool is the 'import your own face' feature, which looks like face import in Tiger Woods.
So now I can see my digital self all bloodied and bruised! Yay!

I have to agree with the comments concerning the controls. I played the crap out of fight night rnd 3, loved the game. But hated how haymakers was done. best fights came down to not using haymakers and picking each other apart.
This demo the controls felt sluggish and the movement I don't think is customizable either as I am used to the circling style control movement.
Without the buttons to use for punches, I don't think I will be getting this game.
