Looks much better than Proving Ground. I want to know if this game will be playable without the expensive board accessory.

No it will not be playable without the board. It is featured in the new OXM with Mass Effect 2 on the cover. You need the board to play the game.

Well if the board is required, and the package is $120 USD, who the hell is gonna buy it? They'll probably jack that up to $150 here in Canada.
